Roof Anchor Engineering Review & Certification (Ongoing Contract)

We are launching a new roof anchor inspection company and are looking to establish a long-term relationship with a licensed Structural Engineer (PE/SE) to support our inspection projects. Our company performs roof anchor inspections and documentation for commercial properties through qualified field personnel. Our trained field technicians collect inspection data, photographs, and measurements. The engineer's role is to independently review this documentation and determine whether it is sufficient to support their engineering opinion or whether additional information is required. We are seeking an experienced engineer to independently review inspection findings and supporting documentation, provide engineering evaluations, and prepare sealed reports or certification documents where appropriate and consistent with applicable laws and professional standards. Responsibilities Review roof anchor inspection reports, photographs, measurements, and supporting documentation prepared by our inspection team. Independently evaluate existing roof anchor systems based on the information provided. Provide engineering recommendations for repairs, replacement, recertification, or additional evaluation when necessary. Prepare and seal engineering reports or certification documents, where appropriate, in accordance with your professional judgment and state licensing requirements. Collaborate with our inspection team to support commercial roof anchor inspection projects. Qualifications Active Professional Engineer (PE) or Structural Engineer (SE) license in one or more U.S. states. Experience evaluating roof anchor systems, fall protection equipment, or structural components. Familiarity with applicable OSHA requirements and industry standards related to fall protection and roof anchor systems. Strong written communication and technical documentation skills. Ability to work as an independent contractor on an ongoing basis. Project Details Ongoing contract with flexible workload.
