Overview We are a consumer hardware company. We need eight cropped cloud/sky compositions recreated as true vector artwork in Adobe Illustrator for printing directly onto a polycarbonate plastic product component. This is not packaging. The artwork decorates the physical product itself — a small molded part. Our manufacturer's process requires editable curves and cannot accept raster images. This is not a file conversion or auto-trace job. We need an illustrator to hand-build vector artwork reproducing the look of our source imagery as closely as possible within the timeline. If your approach is Image Trace or Vector Magic with cleanup, please do not apply. We test for it and will reject the delivery. Critical: Style Consistency Across All 8 The eight pieces ship as a coordinated set on the same product line. They must look like they came from one hand — identical cloud rendering language, identical tonal step count, identical edge treatment, identical palette. We are hiring one artist or one studio for all eight. We will not split this across freelancers. If you plan to subcontract, disclose it in your proposal and confirm how you will enforce style consistency. Preferred Approach — Please Address in Your Proposal Our eight crops are taken from high-resolution source photography. We believe the most efficient path is: Vectorize the source region once as a single master vector build, then output the eight crops as separate artboards drawn from that master. This gives one build instead of eight, guarantees consistency, and should substantially reduce cost and time versus eight independent illustrations. Tell us in your proposal whether you agree, or whether you would approach it differently and why. We are open to a better method. Timeline — Please Read Before Applying Thursday deadline for first deliveries — roughly 48 hours from hire. We are being direct: eight photorealistic vector cloud renderings in 48 hours is not possible, and we are not asking for it. In this timeline we want: Clean, hand-drawn vector clouds built from a limited number of discrete tonal steps — naturalistic in form, light direction, and composition, but stylized in execution. The artwork should read as clouds, match our source compositions, and look intentional and premium. It does not need to be photographic.
