Project Overview We are seeking a professional Russian/English in-person consecutive interpreter for a unique history project in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The interpreter will facilitate communication as a Russian-speaking grandfather shares stories about his life over approximately 10 hours of conversation. The sessions are expected to take place over five days, likely in August. Responsibilities - Provide accurate and culturally appropriate consecutive interpretation between Russian and English. - Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and impartiality during all sessions. Requirements - Native or near-native fluency in Russian and English. - Proven experience with consecutive interpretation. - Ability to work in person in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. - Ability to allocate up to 5 days (2 hours each day) in August.
