SAP ABAP Developer 

Experience Level: 3–5 Years  Employment Type: Full-time Location: Remote About the Role We are seeking an independent SAP ABAP Developer to join our Consulting Team. In this role, you will leverage your experience to support other consultants in overcoming programming challenges, ensuring high-quality communication and delivery across the team. 1. Key Responsibilities Project Engagement: Actively participate in SAP system implementation and maintenance projects focused on logistics within both local and international project scopes. Collaboration: Partner on an ongoing basis with fellow functional consultants, business users, implementation teams, and project stakeholders. Consulting & Programming Support: Assist the team with daily programming challenges and provide consulting on various technical solutions and approaches. Meeting Participation: Actively participate in project meetings to foster strong team collaboration. Continuous Improvement: Take a proactive approach to seeking new solutions, learning continuously, and initiating process improvements. 2. Requirements 2.1. Technical Experience & Skills Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in SAP development, specifically with a strong focus on ABAP OO in commercial project environments. Code Quality: Strong command of ABAP syntax with a deep understanding of clean code principles, object-oriented design, and the ability to write efficient, maintainable code. Analysis & Problem Solving: Ability to independently analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Strong skills in debugging, analyzing existing codebases, and working with SAP tools. Autonomy: Ability to work independently and take full ownership of tasks from initial analysis through to final delivery. Quality Standards: Experience participating in code reviews to maintain high code quality standards. 2.2. Languages & Tools Languages: Proven ability to work and communicate effectively in an international business environment. Fluency in at least two of the following languages is mandatory: English, Polish, or German. Software: Proficiency in standard Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Teams). 3. Nice-to-Have Familiarity with SAP technical frameworks such as BOPF or PPF (experience with at least one is a strong asset). Previous working experience with: Interfaces: SOAP, RFC, IDOC, ICF, OData UI Technologies: FPM, WebDynpro, UI5, WebIDE Printouts: AdobeForms, SmartForms, SAPScripts Knowledge of other programming languages. An active Category B driving license. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools or practical experience applying AI/ML concepts in SAP-related projects. 4.
