SAP Basis Administrator

SAP BASIS Administrator (5–8 Years) | Remote | Contract/Freelancer We are hiring an experienced SAP BASIS Administrator to support and manage enterprise SAP landscapes for a global client. This is a remote contract/freelance opportunity for professionals with strong SAP BASIS administration experience across ECC and S/4HANA environments. Responsibilities * Administer SAP ECC, S/4HANA, BW, and related landscapes across Development, QA, and Production. * Perform SAP installations, system configuration, kernel upgrades, patching, and system/client copies. * Monitor system health, analyze performance, and ensure high system availability. * Administer SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server, including backup, restore, and disaster recovery activities. * Manage Transport Management System (TMS), user administration, roles, authorizations, and SAP security. * Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with infrastructure, network, and application teams during upgrades and maintenance. * Maintain technical documentation and follow operational best practices. Required Skills * 5–8 years of SAP BASIS Administration experience. * Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA. * Strong knowledge of SAP HANA and Microsoft SQL Server. * Experience with installations, upgrades, patching, monitoring, performance tuning, and TMS. * Expertise in backup, disaster recovery, security administration, and production support. * Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills. Preferred Skills * SAP Fiori and Solution Manager. * Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP. * Shell or PowerShell scripting. * ITIL support processes. * SAP BASIS, SAP HANA Administration, or S/4HANA Administration certifications.
