We're looking for an experienced search engine optimization professional who knows their way around the tooling and can help us get the most out of our blog which has already been set up. The technical one page SEO is pretty good. We can improve individual pages. What we need is someone who can get in the tool and make actual tasks for us so that we can improve the the site. One page technical SEO and also start creating content to rank these words not only for SEO but also on social media as well. AI generated scope below: The Role This isn't a reporting job. We don't need someone who sends weekly PDFs full of charts nobody reads. We need someone who lives in SEMrush, spots opportunities before we ask, and tells us exactly what content to create and why. SEMrush is already set up. The site is already ranking. You're not starting from scratch. You're taking a working machine and making it faster. What You'll Own Toxic Backlink Management (Priority #1) Daily monitoring and disavow file management We're actively being targeted by third parties with negative SEO attacks. You need to stay on top of this, identify toxic backlinks quickly, maintain a clean disavow list, and ensure it's uploaded to Google Search Console consistently This is not a "check it once a week" task. Daily. Keyword Research & Content Strategy Track organic keyword rankings across all our target URLs Identify long-tail keyword opportunities where we can realistically rank and drive traffic Tell us what content to create, what format, what angle, what keywords to target Once content is live, track how it performs. What's ranking, what's not, what needs updating Analyse existing pages and recommend on-page improvements to push rankings higher for target keywords Multi-Language Keyword Tracking Set up and manage keyword tracking across multiple languages so we have a complete picture of our international performance We publish content in several languages. You need to make sure we're tracking all of them properly AI Search Performance Experience tracking visibility in AI-powered search results (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.) using SEMrush's AI tools This is an emerging space. We want someone who's already thinking about it Page-Level SEO Analysis Review pages we're trying to rank for specific keywords Identify what's working, what isn't, and what changes would move the needle Proactive recommendations, not reactive reports What We're NOT Looking For Someone who produces reports for the sake of reporting Someone who needs to be told what to look at Someone who treats SEMrush as a dashboard to glance at rather than a tool to work in What We ARE Looking For Deep, hands-on SEMrush expertise (not surface-level familiarity) Someone who understands negative SEO and backlink toxicity management in practice, not just theory Proven experience growing organic traffic for content-heavy sites Comfortable working across multiple languages and international SEO Proactive. You come to us with opportunities, not the other way around Familiarity with gaming, entertainment, or high-volume content sites is a plus Details Remote, flexible hours Contract / freelance basis Regular async communication (Discord + weekly check-ins) You'll work directly with our content and marketing team Interested?
