SEO/AEO Specialist (long-term opportunity)

I run a boutique SEO/AEO agency for B2B SaaS companies. I'm looking for a long-term implementation partner to help with the two things that drive results: producing excellent content and building off-site authority. There's a clear path to owning client relationships and building out a team of your own. To start, you'll execute excellent content to clear briefs and a style guide, and do it really well. How we work: We run all our production and outreach systems through Claude Code, so expertise in Claude Code is ideal. You'll work in it every day. You don't need prior experience with it, but you do need to be genuinely comfortable picking up technical tools (terminal, markdown, running scripts, working alongside an AI agent). If tech intimidates you, this isn't the role. If you love that stuff, you'll thrive. What you'll do: - Draft long-form content (blog posts, comparison and alternatives pages) to a brief and style guide - Edit and QA drafts so they read like a sharp human wrote them, not AI - Edit for true information gain, thought leadership and style - Handle on-page basics: titles, meta descriptions, headings, internal linking, clean structure. - Run all pages through our POWER framework to maximize AI retrievability - Off-site outreach: find link and mention opportunities, write personalized outreach, engage in relevant Reddit/communities, pitch for inclusion in roundups and listicles - Run all of the above through our Claude Code workflows. You should have: - 2-4+ years in SEO, AEO and content marketing - Genuinely excellent written English (non-negotiable, you'll be writing and editing rigorously) - Familiarity with AI visibility tools and tracking, and an understanding of how to get pages cited in AI search results - Good familiarity and experience with AEO and off-page AEO frameworks - Real comfort learning technical tools and working in an AI-agent/terminal environment Very nice to have: any experience with Claude Code, the command line, markdown, or git. Familiarity with AEO / getting brands cited in AI answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews). Details: Starting half-time with room to grow to full-time for the right person. Long-term.
