SEO & ONLINE REPUTATION SPECIALIST Position Summary In-House Brand Lab is seeking an experienced SEO & Online Reputation Specialist to assist with the execution and implementation of comprehensive SEO campaigns across multiple client accounts. This is not a basic SEO position focused on a single aspect of search optimization. We are looking for someone who understands how the entire SEO ecosystem works together to improve rankings, visibility, authority, trust, lead generation, and long-term online growth. The ideal candidate should possess practical working knowledge of On-Page SEO, Off-Page SEO, Local SEO, Technical SEO, Content SEO, Blog SEO, Google Business Profile SEO, Citation Building, Authority Building, Internal Linking, Search Intent Optimization, AI Search Visibility, Competitor Analysis, Keyword Research, Search Console Monitoring, and overall search visibility strategy. This role is execution-focused and requires the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously while working within established project budgets, allocated hours, workflows, and company systems. How We Work Please read carefully before applying. This position is designed to work alongside the owner and lead strategist of In-House Brand Lab. A significant portion of the SEO strategy, keyword targeting, content planning, authority-building direction, service prioritization, city targeting, local SEO planning, and campaign structure is already developed internally. You will not be expected to independently build complete SEO strategies from scratch for every account. Instead, you will be expected to assist in implementing, optimizing, monitoring, and executing the strategies provided. In many cases: • Blog topics are researched and written in-house. • Target keywords are provided. • SEO priorities are established. • Authority-building strategies are planned internally. • Service and location targets are predetermined. • Content direction is already established. Your role is to provide implementation support, optimization recommendations, quality control, execution, and feedback based on the information and direction provided. The ideal candidate understands how to take an existing strategy and execute it efficiently while identifying opportunities for improvement. SEO Responsibilities Responsibilities may include: Website SEO audits, keyword implementation, title tag optimization, meta description optimization, internal linking, content optimization, local SEO implementation, Google Business Profile optimization, citation management, authority-building support, search visibility improvements, competitor analysis, content recommendations, service page optimization, city page optimization, schema recommendations, technical SEO reviews, Search Console monitoring, ranking analysis, and ongoing search performance improvements. Candidates should understand how various SEO disciplines work together and be comfortable working across multiple websites and industries. Online Reputation Management Responsibilities Online Reputation Management responsibilities are limited in scope and are assigned on a project-by-project basis. When assigned ORM tasks, your responsibilities will focus specifically on Google and Yelp review management activities. This includes reviewing negative reviews, reporting and removing/ suppressing. Your role is not to manage the overall reputation strategy. it is only to report until removal is successful or push down. In-House Brand Lab handles the broader reputation management process including client communication, reputation planning, content creation, authority building, response strategies, review generation initiatives, and overall ORM strategy. Your involvement in ORM projects is specifically focused on review analysis, reporting, removal efforts, suppression support, tracking, and documentation. Required Skills Applicants should possess practical experience and understanding of: On-Page SEO Off-Page SEO Local SEO Technical SEO Google Business Profile Optimization Content SEO Keyword Research Citation Building Internal Linking Authority Building Search Console Google Analytics Competitor Analysis Search Intent Optimization Multi-Account Management Experience working with local businesses, service-based businesses, contractors, healthcare providers, law firms, restaurants, automotive businesses, restoration companies, and similar industries is preferred but not required. Performance Expectations This is a performance-driven position. Team members are expected to manage multiple client accounts efficiently, meet deadlines, communicate effectively, follow company procedures, complete assigned tasks within allocated project hours, and consistently contribute to measurable SEO improvements. Candidates must be capable of adapting to established systems and workflows. We are not seeking individuals who require custom workflows, alternative systems, or independent control over campaign direction. This position is best suited for professionals who understand how to execute efficiently, collaborate effectively, and contribute to results within an existing framework. Compensation & Hours PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE APPLYING. The hourly rate for this position is NON-NEGOTIABLE. The compensation for this role is $3.00 per hour. Project hours are predetermined based on client budgets and project requirements. The allocated hours assigned to each project are also NON-NEGOTIABLE. If your minimum hourly rate exceeds $3.00 per hour, please do not apply.
