SEO Content Publishing Assistant (No Writing Required)

# Wix SEO Publishing Assistant (Long-Term) We are looking for a reliable virtual assistant to help publish and optimize articles for our Canadian website. **This is NOT a content writing position.** We write all of our articles ourselves using AI combined with our industry expertise. Your role is to take our completed articles and publish them professionally while following on-page SEO best practices. This is a long-term opportunity as we continue building one of Canada's largest educational websites in our industry. **We expect to publish 100–300+ articles over the next few years, so we're looking for someone who wants to become a long-term part of our team and grow with us.** ## Your Responsibilities For each completed article you will: * Upload the completed article into Wix. * Ensure the article formatting is clean, professional and consistent with the rest of the website. * Make sure the article displays properly on both desktop and mobile devices. * Insert images, charts, graphs and tables that we provide. * Create AI-generated images, graphics or visual elements when appropriate to improve the article. * Add relevant internal links to other articles throughout the website. * Add external authority links where appropriate. * Optimize SEO page titles. * Write compelling meta titles and meta descriptions. * Optimize page URLs/slugs. * Add descriptive image alt text. * Ensure the target keywords are properly incorporated throughout the article without keyword stuffing. * Review and improve the article's on-page SEO before publishing. * Follow our publishing and SEO checklist before every article goes live. * Help identify opportunities to improve internal linking across the website as our article library grows. * Ensure every published article provides an excellent user experience while following SEO best practices. ## You Will NOT Be Responsible For * Writing articles. * Researching topics. * Creating article content. * Developing SEO strategies. * Performing keyword research. * Planning content calendars. We provide all of the content, target keywords, article outlines and overall SEO strategy. Your role is to execute the publishing and on-page optimization process consistently and accurately. ## Ideal Experience * Experience publishing articles in Wix (preferred). * Experience with WordPress or other CMS platforms is also valuable. * Good understanding of on-page SEO. * Experience with internal linking. * Experience optimizing page titles and meta descriptions. * Experience using AI tools (such as ChatGPT or image generation tools) to create supporting visuals is an asset. * Strong attention to detail. * Comfortable following detailed checklists and processes. ## To Apply Please answer the following: 1.
