SEO Expert (Local SEO + AI SEO) | On- Page & Off Page

I run a digital marketing agency and I'm looking for a skilled SEO expert to work across 2-3 client projects at a time on an ongoing basis. This is a long-term role, not a one-off gig. If you do good work, you stay busy. What I need you to be genuinely strong at: Local SEO is non-negotiable. You should know Google Business Profile inside and out including category strategy, service descriptions, post publishing, and how to troubleshoot issues like wrong public-facing labels or pending edits. You should know how citations work and how to verify them, not just submit and forget. AI SEO matters more every month. You should understand how Google's AI Overviews work, how to structure content so it gets pulled into AI answers, and how to optimize for entity-based search. If you have not kept up with how search is changing in 2024-2025, this is not the right role. Technical SEO basics need to be solid. H1/H2 hierarchy, schema markup (especially LocalBusiness and MedicalOrganization), canonical tags, noindex/nofollow handling, page speed basics, and internal linking. You should be able to verify your own work on a live site before calling something done. On-page SEO should be second nature. Focus keyphrases, meta titles, meta descriptions, heading structure, content optimization for target keywords. WordPress, Shopify, Wix is required. Elementor experience is a plus. Yoast or RankMath for SEO settings. Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console are tools you use weekly, not occasionally. How I work: I expect a clear update at the end of each work session with what was done, what is pending, and any issues that came up. I verify work on the live site, so please do not mark something complete unless it actually is. I am direct, I move fast, and I appreciate the same from the people I work with. Who this is for: You are an independent freelancer, not an agency reselling work. You have worked with local service businesses before, ideally in health, wellness, or professional services. You are comfortable managing multiple clients and keeping each one moving forward without things falling through the cracks. Generic proposals will not be read.
