SEO Expert Needed for Shopify Store Optimization

This role focuses on hands-on SEO execution—from technical audits to content optimization—with clear, measurable outcomes. ## Key Responsibilities * Develop and execute an SEO strategy focused on increasing organic traffic and conversions * Conduct keyword research for products, categories, and content opportunities * Optimize on-page SEO elements (titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal linking, schema) * Improve technical SEO performance (site speed, Core Web Vitals, crawlability, indexing) * Optimize product and category pages for search visibility and conversion * Collaborate with content and marketing teams on SEO-friendly content creation * Identify and fix SEO issues using tools like Google Search Console and analytics platforms * Build and manage ethical link-building and outreach campaigns * Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions, and provide regular performance reports * Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and ecommerce SEO best practices ## Required Skills & Experience * Proven experience improving SEO performance for ecommerce or retail websites * Strong understanding of Google ranking factors and search intent * Hands-on experience with tools such as: * Google Search Console * Google Analytics / GA4 * Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar SEO tools * Solid knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO * Experience optimizing large product catalogs is a plus * Ability to analyze data and translate insights into action * Clear communication skills and ability to work independently ## Nice to Have * Experience with Shopify * Understanding of conversion rate optimization (CRO) * Basic HTML/CSS knowledge * Experience with international or local SEO (if applicable) ## Success Metrics * Growth in organic traffic * Improvement in keyword rankings * Increase in organic revenue and conversion rate * Improved Core Web Vitals and technical SEO health
