About the Project We are looking for an SEO specialist with experience optimizing local and service-area landing pages for B2B companies. Our primary focus is not creating new location pages. We already have location pages in place and need an expert to audit, optimize, and improve them for local search visibility, user experience, and AI-generated search results. Example page: https://vivantcorp.com/business-phone-systems-dallas-fort-worth/ Scope of Work: Audit & Optimize Existing Location Pages: Review our existing location pages and identify opportunities for improvement, including: Incorrect city-specific references, neighborhoods, local landmarks, competitors, industries, or geographic details Thin, generic, or templated content that lacks local relevance Missing or incorrect schema markup (LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Service) On-page SEO issues, including title tags, meta descriptions, H1/H2 structure, and internal linking Missing E-E-A-T signals, trust indicators, and local credibility elements Opportunities to improve visibility in Google's AI-generated search experiences Location Page Improvements: The goal is to make each page genuinely relevant to its local market by: Improving local market specificity Enhancing content quality and user value Strengthening local search relevance Improving internal linking to related service and industry pages Ensuring schema is implemented correctly Optimizing content structure for both traditional search and AI-generated results What We're Not Looking For: Generic SEO audits with no actionable recommendations Pages that simply swap city names into a template Pure content writers without technical SEO knowledge Agencies that outsource all work overseas without strategic oversight Candidates without experience optimizing local or service-area landing pages Ideal Candidate: Proven experience optimizing local landing pages or service-area pages Strong understanding of local SEO and Google's E-E-A-T principles Experience with schema markup implementation (LocalBusiness, FAQPage, Service) Familiarity with AI Overview optimization and modern search experiences Experience auditing and improving existing content rather than simply creating new content Comfortable working with WordPress, Elementor, or providing publish-ready recommendations Familiarity with tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics Deliverables: Audit report identifying issues and opportunities Prioritized list of recommended fixes Corrected and optimized versions of selected location pages On-page SEO checklist for each page optimized Recommendations for improving future location page development To Apply, Please Include: 2–3 examples of local or service-area landing pages you have optimized Any ranking, traffic, or lead generation results achieved A brief explanation of how you make location pages genuinely local rather than templated Your experience with schema markup and local SEO Your preferred pricing structure (hourly or project-based)
