AI SEO + Google Business Profile Specialist for Local Urgent Care Clinic (Ongoing, Monthly)

Overview We're looking for an SEO specialist to handle ongoing search optimization for an urgent care center in a competitive U.S. metro market. This is a recurring monthly engagement (not a one-off project), so we want someone reliable we can work with long-term. The primary focus is AI SEO (Generative Engine Optimization) and Google Business Profile optimization. Website SEO and content are secondary and will fill remaining hours as available. Primary responsibilities Google Business Profile management: optimize the profile, keep services/hours/categories accurate, publish regular posts, manage photos, monitor and help respond to reviews, and improve local map pack visibility for high-intent local searches. AI SEO / GEO: improve how the clinic appears in AI-driven answers (Google AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini) for relevant local and service queries. This includes structuring content for extractability, FAQ/schema optimization, and strengthening consistent factual signals across the web. Secondary responsibilities (as time allows) On-page and technical website SEO (schema markup, titles/meta, site health, page speed). Blog post optimization and content improvements. General local SEO housekeeping (citation/NAP consistency, listings cleanup). Required monthly deliverable — a report at the end of each month covering: What was completed during the month. How the hours were allocated across tasks/focus areas. SEO performance updates — score/ranking changes, local visibility, and any AI-answer visibility improvements, with before/after where possible. Requirements Demonstrated experience with Google Business Profile / local SEO (please share examples or results). Familiarity with AI SEO / GEO and how to improve brand visibility in AI answers. Comfortable working with WordPress and standard SEO tools (e.g. Search Console, Semrush/Ahrefs, BrightLocal, or similar). Clear written English and consistent monthly communication. Bonus: experience with medical, healthcare, or other local service-based clients (YMYL content).
