Can Search Perception Help Predict Brand Click Loss? We are conducting an industry research initiative to explore whether Search Perception signals can be used to estimate changes in brand CTR. The goal is to determine whether publicly observable perception indicators can serve as an early warning system before measurable traffic loss occurs. How It Works - Search for the brand on our platform. - Add the brand to Watch for ongoing monitoring. - When the system detects elevated risk and sends an alert email, simply check the corresponding CTR in your own GA environment. Submit only: Insight Score CTR value No brand name is required. No client name is required. No domain is required. No screenshots are required. No account access is required. Only anonymous numerical observations are collected. Why Participate? Most SEO and ORM professionals know that reputation issues can affect search behavior. However, there is currently no reliable industry method for estimating the scale of perception-related search damage. This project aims to investigate whether Search Perception signals can provide an early indication of CTR decline. Participants may gain: - Early access to emerging Search Perception methodologies - Insight into the relationship between perception and search performance - Future access to research findings and model updates - A practical framework that may help quantify reputation impact for clients Compensation For each valid anonymous Insight Score and CTR observation pair submitted, participants will receive: $1 USD There is no limit to the number of observations that may be submitted. Participants who manage multiple brands or clients may contribute multiple data points over time. Privacy All submissions are anonymous. Please do not submit: - Client names - Domains - Account credentials - Proprietary information Only numerical observations are required. Research Objective The long-term objective is to determine whether Search Perception can be measured quantitatively and whether perception signals can help estimate brand search performance changes. If successful, the findings may contribute to the development of practical perception-based risk assessment models for SEO, ORM, and brand reputation management.
