SEO Off-Page Specialist (Backlinking, Quora & Reddit Marketing)

Employment Type Full-Time / Contract About the Role We are looking for an SEO Off-Page Specialist to drive organic visibility, authority building, and inbound lead generation through strategic backlink acquisition, community engagement, and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO). The ideal candidate understands modern SEO beyond rankings and can effectively leverage platforms like Reddit and Quora to establish thought leadership, generate meaningful discussions, and improve search visibility across traditional and AI-driven search experiences. Key Responsibilities Reddit Marketing & Community Engagement - Identify and engage in niche-relevant subreddits aligned with our target audience. - Create and participate in meaningful discussions that provide genuine value to community members. - Develop original posts and thoughtful comments that establish credibility and brand authority. - Adhere to subreddit guidelines and maintain positive community relationships. - Monitor discussions and identify opportunities to contribute relevant insights. Quora Marketing & Content Distribution - Research and engage with high-intent, search-driven questions relevant to our industry. - Create well-structured, authoritative, and informative answers. Identify trending topics and questions with strong search potential. - Build thought leadership and improve brand visibility through value-driven content. SEO & Off-Page Optimization - Keyword Research & Content Strategy - Conduct keyword research, including primary, long-tail, and intent-based keywords. - Map user search intent across informational, transactional, and navigational searches. - Perform competitor research and identify content opportunities and gaps. - Develop content clustering and topical authority recommendations. On-Page SEO Recommendations - Provide recommendations for title tags, meta descriptions, heading structures, internal linking, and content optimization opportunities. Backlink Building - Build and manage a high-quality backlink profile through relevant and credible sources. - Identify opportunities for contextual backlinks, industry placements, community engagement, and niche-relevant mentions. - Evaluate backlink quality and ensure adherence to SEO best practices. Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) - Structure content to improve visibility in AI-generated search experiences and featured snippets. - Optimize content for direct-answer formats and zero-click searches. - Develop FAQ recommendations based on user search behaviour. - Recommend schema and structured data opportunities where applicable. - Identify opportunities to improve visibility across AI-driven search platforms. Performance & Quality Expectations - Maintain a quality-first approach in all activities and recommendations. - Produce original, tailored, and non-templated content. - Avoid spam, automation, and low-quality engagement tactics. - Ensure community accounts remain in good standing and comply with platform guidelines. - Focus on driving relevant traffic, authority, and qualified inbound opportunities. - Stay updated with evolving SEO, search engine algorithms, and AI search trends. Reporting Requirements - Daily Reporting - Share a summary of activities completed across Reddit, Quora, SEO, and backlinking initiatives. - Provide links to activities and content published. - Highlight key actions taken, observations, and any blockers or risks identified. Weekly Reporting - Submit a consolidated report covering completed activities, engagement metrics, backlink acquisition, SEO initiatives, ranking movement, and traffic insights where available. - Provide key learnings, recommendations, and the execution plan for the upcoming week. Preferred Qualifications - Experience in SEO, off-page SEO, community marketing, or content distribution. - Strong understanding of Reddit, Quora, backlink building, and search intent. - Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics. - Understanding of AEO, featured snippets, schema markup, and - AI-driven search trends. - Excellent research, writing, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and execute against measurable business outcomes.
