SEO Report: Why a New Competitor Is Ranking Fast

We are looking for an experienced SEO analyst to prepare a focused competitive intelligence report on a new competitor that is ranking unusually well in Google in our niche. This is an external analysis only. You will not have access to the competitor’s internal data. The analysis should be based on public SERP evidence and third-party SEO tools and Google search results. The goal is to understand why this relatively new competitor is gaining visibility quickly compared with older, established websites in the same space, including our own website and other known competitors. We want a practical report explaining: - What topics, keyword clusters, and page types the competitor is ranking for. - Whether their growth appears driven by content strategy, technical setup, backlinks/PR, domain history, internal linking, topical authority, page templates, schema, freshness, or another factor. - How their approach compares with older competitors already ranking in the market. - What patterns we can learn from, and which are realistic or not realistic to apply to our own site. - Which findings are evidence-based vs. hypotheses. This is not a request for a generic SEO audit, link-building campaign, keyword list, or monthly SEO consultancy. We need a specific, analytical, evidence-backed competitive report. Deliverables: 1. A concise written report. 2. SERP and keyword visibility analysis. 3. Competitor content and site architecture breakdown. 4. Backlink/referring domain analysis, including possible PR or authority-building patterns. 5. Comparison against 3-5 established competitors. 6. Clear explanation of why the new competitor may be ranking quickly. 7. Actionable takeaways for our team, separated into quick learnings, strategic opportunities, and items that need further validation.
