See detailed job description below: SEO & SEM Specialist Position Overview We are seeking an experienced SEO & Search Marketing Specialist to increase organic visibility, website traffic, and qualified lead generation through strategic search engine optimization and paid search initiatives. This role will be responsible for developing and executing SEO strategies, managing Google Ads campaigns, optimizing content, and driving growth within the legal technology market. The ideal candidate combines strong SEO expertise with paid search experience and understands how to align organic and paid search strategies to maximize visibility, traffic, and conversions. Key Responsibilities: - SEO Strategy & Execution - Develop and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase organic search visibility and website performance. - Conduct keyword research and search intent analysis to identify growth opportunities. - Optimize website pages, landing pages, blog posts, case studies, and resource content for search performance. - Monitor rankings and implement ongoing optimization strategies to improve visibility. Google Ads & Paid Search Management: - Plan, launch, manage, and optimize Google Ads campaigns. - Conduct keyword research and audience analysis to support paid search initiatives. - Monitor campaign performance, budgets, click-through rates, conversions, and cost-per-acquisition metrics. - Identify opportunities to improve campaign effectiveness and ROI. - Align paid search campaigns with broader marketing and lead generation objectives. Content Optimization & AI-Assisted Workflows: - Collaborate with marketing leadership to develop SEO-driven content strategies. - Create content briefs, keyword recommendations, and optimization plans. - Identify content gaps and opportunities based on search demand and competitive analysis. - Utilize AI tools responsibly to support content research, optimization, and workflow efficiency. - Optimize existing content to improve rankings, engagement, and conversion performance. Technical SEO: - Conduct website audits to identify technical SEO issues and opportunities. - Monitor indexing, crawlability, site architecture, page speed, mobile performance, and user experience. - Work with developers and website administrators to implement SEO recommendations. - Ensure SEO best practices are incorporated into all website updates and new content launches. Competitive Research & Market Analysis: - Analyze competitors' SEO performance, content strategies, backlink profiles, paid search activity, and website positioning. - Monitor legal technology and eDiscovery market trends. - Provide actionable recommendations to strengthen search visibility and market positioning. Reporting & Analytics: - Track and report on SEO and paid search performance metrics, including rankings, traffic, conversions, lead generation, and ROI. - Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other marketing tools. - Develop regular performance reports with recommendations for improvement and growth. Authority Building & Growth Initiatives: - Support ethical link-building and authority-building initiatives. - Identify guest content, partnership, directory, and industry publication opportunities. - Contribute to strategies that strengthen brand visibility within the legal and legal technology communities. Preferred Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience managing SEO programs and Google Ads campaigns. - Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO. - Experience with Google Ads, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or similar platforms. - Experience using AI tools to improve marketing workflows and efficiency. - Strong analytical and reporting skills. - Excellent project management and communication skills. - Experience working within legal technology, SaaS, B2B technology, professional services, or legal markets is highly preferred.
