SEO Specialist VA (Blog & Content SEO)

About the role We run several e-commerce brands with active content blogs and we're looking for an SEO VA who genuinely knows blog SEO - not someone who just learned the basics last month. You'll own keyword research, on-page optimization, and content SEO across multiple sites. Strong hands-on Ahrefs experience is a must. What you'll do Conduct keyword research and build content briefs using Ahrefs (Keywords Explorer, Site Explorer, Content Gap) Optimize new and existing blog posts for on-page SEO (titles, meta, headers, internal linking, keyword placement, search intent) Identify content gaps and ranking opportunities against competitors Track keyword rankings and report on movement Audit blogs for technical and on-page issues and recommend fixes Build internal linking structures across blog content Stay on top of SEO best practices and algorithm changes Requirements Proven hands-on experience with Ahrefs (please mention specific features you use regularly) Strong knowledge of blog/content SEO - on-page, search intent, topical authority, internal linking Experience optimizing content that actually ranks (examples or case studies a big plus) Understanding of SERP analysis and competitor research Good written English and attention to detail Reliable internet and ability to work independently Nice to have Experience with WordPress and/or Shopify blogs Familiarity with Google Search Console, Surfer, or similar E-commerce SEO background
