SEO Specialist (Cannabis Industry) – Project-Based (Remote)

We're looking for an experienced SEO Specialist with a proven track record in the cannabis industry to join us on a project basis. This is a remote, project-based opportunity with an immediate start. The ideal candidate is available to begin work on Monday, August 3, 2026. Responsibilities: • Develop and execute SEO strategies for our cannabis brands. • Ortimize and maintain our websites for organic search performance. • Perform keyword research and competitor analysis. • Plan, write, and publish high-quality SEO-optimized blog articles and website content. • Improve technical SEO, site structure, internal linking, and page performance. • Build and execute ethical link-building strategies. • Monitor rankings, traffic, and conversions, providing regular performance reports. • Collaborate with our design and marketing team to implement SEO improvements. Requirements: • Proven experience doing SEO for cannabis companies (required). • Experience writing SEO-optimized content and blog articles. • Strong understanding of technical, on-page, off-page, and local SEO. • Proficiency with Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, or similar tools. • Knowledge of cannabis marketing regulations and search best practices. • Excellent written English. • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage projects independently.
