We're an HVAC local service business looking for an experienced SEO freelancer to handle a full technical and local SEO overhaul of our website and Google Business Profile. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented project. We need someone who can genuinely execute, not just consult. What We Need: Complete Technical SEO Audit & Fixes Crawl errors, indexing issues, site architecture, XML sitemap, robots.txt Site speed / Core Web Vitals optimization Canonical tags, redirects, broken links, duplicate content Fix anything and everything under the technical SEO umbrella. We mean all of it, not a partial pass AI SEO / AI Search Visibility Optimize our website so we show up in AI-powered search results (ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, etc.) for local and "near me" style queries Structure content and data so AI tools can accurately surface our business for location-based searches Schema Markup Implementation Implement LocalBusiness / HVAC-specific schema Service area, reviews, FAQ, and other relevant structured data types Validate via Google's Rich Results Test / Schema.org validators Google Business Profile (GMB) Technical Audit Full technical audit of our GMB listing Identify and fix categorization, NAP consistency, attributes, and any technical issues affecting local visibility WordPress Design Basic WordPress layout adjustments to support SEO changes Comfortable navigating a WordPress page builder Mobile Optimization Ensure the site is fully optimized for mobile SEO in terms of responsiveness, mobile page speed & mobile usability Requirements: Proven experience with technical SEO (please share case studies or examples) Demonstrated experience getting businesses visible in AI search tools.
