SEO Specialist for Law Firms

About us: We're an established SEO agency working exclusively with law firms (personal injury, estate planning, family law, IP). We've built an AI-assisted audit system that produces detailed, evidence-backed work plans, and we need a sharp SEO specialist to execute them. What makes this role different: You won't be handed vague goals like "improve rankings." You'll work from structured audit workbooks where the diagnosis has already been completed. Every task comes with evidence, specific do-and-don't instructions, and priorities. Your job is skilled execution and the judgment calls the data can't make. What you'll do: Implement on-page updates in WordPress from precise change specs (title/meta rewrites, content additions with clear constraints  never "add 2,000 words" busywork) Execute internal linking, redirects, and broken-link fixes from pre-verified task lists Differentiate templated city/practice-area pages with genuine local content Work with Google Search Console and GA4 data; do targeted manual research where the audit flags it (SERP/competitor reviews, query analysis) Track everything in ClickUp; communicate progress clearly in writing Focus: Local SEO for lawyers, Google Business Profile-driven visibility, location page strategy, and increasingly, visibility in AI search (ChatGPT, Claude, Google AI Overviews). We want someone who's genuinely comfortable using AI tools to work faster and smarter, but who knows AI output must be verified, not blindly shipped. Requirements: 2+ years hands-on SEO execution (local SEO strongly preferred; legal vertical a plus) Strong WordPress skills; comfortable with GSC, GA4, and reading data Excellent written English your updates and notes will be read by our team and potentially clients Reliable availability during Eastern Time (US) business hours Detail-oriented: you follow specs precisely and flag concerns rather than improvising silently Bonus: High English communication skill and ability to manage client-facing communication (this role may grow into client contact for the right person).
