SEO Specialist with AEO and GEO Experience | Legal Tech SaaS | DocuFence

Job Description: We're building DocuFence, a secure PDF editing, signing, and document collaboration platform built for lawyers and legal teams. We're looking for an experienced SEO specialist who also understands Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) to own our search presence from the ground up. About DocuFence DocuFence is a legal-tech SaaS product that lets lawyers edit PDFs natively, request and manage signatures with legal defensibility, and share documents under strict security controls including one-time links, time-bound access, password protection, and no-download enforcement. We're live on Web, Android, and iOS. Our competitors include tools like DocuSign, Adobe Acrobat, and PandaDoc. We need to carve out a clear, rankable presence in a competitive space. What You'll Work On -Full SEO audit of our existing web presence and identifying quick wins -Keyword research focused on legal document workflows, PDF editing, and e-signature use cases -On-page optimization across landing pages, feature pages, and blog content -Technical SEO covering site speed, crawlability, schema markup, and Core Web Vitals -Content strategy and briefs for blog posts and landing pages targeting high-intent legal keywords -Link building and authority development relevant to legal tech and SaaS -AEO: structuring content so DocuFence appears in featured snippets, People Also Ask boxes, and voice search results -GEO: optimizing content to be cited and surfaced by AI tools like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude, and Google AI Overviews when lawyers search for document tools Tracking, reporting, and iterating based on measurable outcomes You're a Good Fit If You: Have 4+ years of SEO experience, preferably with SaaS or B2B products Understand AEO and know how to structure FAQs, schema, and content to win answer boxes Understand GEO and know how LLMs pull citations and how to write content that gets referenced by AI answers Are comfortable with technical SEO, not just content Have worked in or have genuine interest in legal tech, productivity tools, or document workflows Can work independently and deliver without heavy hand-holding Communicate clearly in English Nice to Have: Experience ranking against established players like DocuSign or Adobe Familiarity with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Screaming Frog, or Surfer SEO
