SEO Strategist / SEO Lead (Long-Term Agency Position)

Hi all we are looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to help lead SEO growth for local service and eCommerce clients. This is NOT a content writing role. This is NOT a backlink-only role. This is NOT an SEO task executor role. We already have execution resources. We are looking for someone who can identify opportunities, build strategy, prioritize actions, and help our team achieve measurable results. What You'll Be Responsible For - SEO audits and opportunity discovery - Keyword strategy and prioritization - Competitor gap analysis - Local SEO strategy (GBP, citations, reviews) - Technical SEO recommendations - Content and topical authority planning - AI Search / GEO / AEO strategy - Monthly SEO roadmaps - Reviewing and guiding execution work - Clear reporting and communication What We Expect - Strong English communication skills - Comfortable leading discussions and explaining strategy - Proactive communication (we should not have to chase updates) - Ability to think beyond tasks and focus on business outcomes - Availability for occasional team meetings and client discussions - Weekend availability for urgent situations when needed - Long-term mindset We value: - Ownership - Communication - Strategic thinking - Reliability We do not hire based solely on technical SEO knowledge.
