We run an SEO agency and are hiring a long-term SEO-focused virtual assistant to support ongoing client work. This is an execution-focused role for someone who is organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable following clear instructions and standard operating procedures. This is not a role for someone who wants to come in and “do SEO their own way.” We already have our systems, workflows, and processes in place. We’re looking for someone who can follow tasks closely, complete them accurately, and grow with our team over time. You do not need to be an advanced SEO expert to apply. Some SEO experience is helpful, but it is not mandatory if you are highly motivated, have strong English, are comfortable using AI tools, and are genuinely interested in learning SEO and digital marketing. About the role This role will support a range of SEO and content-related tasks across multiple client accounts. You’ll be working from our SOPs and task instructions, and we’ll give you clear direction on what to do. We are looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and wants a long-term position rather than a short freelance project. To start, the workload will likely be around 1 to 2 hours per day on weekdays, with the possibility of more work over time. There may also be optional weekend work available if you want extra hours. Our goal is to find someone who wants to stay with us long term and grow into a larger role over the next year. Example tasks may include Researching specific topics and helping write content using Claude and ChatGPT Doing keyword research using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, or similar platforms Assisting with website audits and on-page SEO tasks Editing website content, including headings, page copy, H1s, H2s, metadata, and internal links Writing blog posts and content pages, then uploading and formatting them on websites Adding new content pages to WordPress, Webflow, or other website platforms Creating Google Business Profile posts using Claude or ChatGPT, then publishing them Generating AI images to support articles or content pages Supporting off-site SEO and general SEO admin tasks Creating accounts on directories or other platforms and posting content where needed Helping with Reddit-related tasks and account building Completing other SEO support tasks based on our SOPs and client needs Platforms and tools you may work with Claude ChatGPT WordPress Webflow Ahrefs SEMrush Ubersuggest Google Business Profile Notion and/or Asana for task management Various custom websites and internal workflows What we’re looking for Strong written English and solid proofreading skills Good attention to detail Comfortable following instructions exactly and working within SOPs Interested in SEO and willing to learn Able to research topics and verify information for accuracy Comfortable using Claude and ChatGPT for writing, editing, and task support Organized, dependable, and responsive Able to work consistently on weekdays Open to a long-term role and growing with our agency Important notes Because we work with real businesses and publish content on behalf of clients, accuracy matters. If you are researching or writing about a topic, you need to be able to sense-check information, verify details, and make sure the final output is clean and accurate before it goes live. We care much more about reliability, strong English, attention to detail, and willingness to learn than we do about having every SEO skill already mastered. If you’re coachable, comfortable using AI tools, and can follow systems well, this role could be a great fit.
