Role Description The Senior Game Audio & SFX Artist is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, creating, and implementing high-quality sound effects and audio assets for Minimpire’s games. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with game designers, artists, and developers to define audio needs, producing original SFX and soundscapes, and integrating audio into game engines. The role involves editing and mixing audio to meet technical and artistic requirements, maintaining a consistent audio style across projects, and optimizing files for performance on various platforms, including mobile. The Senior Game Audio & SFX Artist will also contribute to audio pipelines, documentation, and best practices, and mentor less experienced team members when needed. Responsibilities -Create high-quality sound effects for combat, abilities, UI, environments, characters, and cinematics. -Compose original music that matches the game's atmosphere and emotional tone. -Design and implement immersive audio experiences that enhance gameplay. -Collaborate closely with game designers, programmers, animators, and artists. -Create audio assets that support gameplay feedback and player immersion. -Mix, master, and optimize audio assets for in-game use. -Implement and test audio systems in Unreal Engine and audio middleware tools. -Maintain consistent audio quality and artistic direction throughout the project. -Iterate quickly based on feedback and gameplay requirements. Requirements -7+ years of professional experience in game audio design and music composition. -Strong portfolio showcasing original game music and sound effects. -Excellent understanding of sound design, music composition, mixing, and mastering. -Ability to create audio for multiple genres, moods, and gameplay situations. -Strong creative vision, attention to detail, and communication skills. -Passion for creating memorable and immersive gaming experiences.
