STAAD Pro Structural Analysis & Design Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented STAAD Pro professional. The role involves structural analysis, load calculations, modeling, and optimization of steel structures using STAAD Pro and related structural engineering tools for industrial and warehouse infrastructure projects. The applicant will be responsible for preparing preliminary analysis reports, first-pass and optimized structural analysis, EC3-based design validation, and participating in technical review discussions with the engineering team. Key Responsibilities: Preliminary Design & Input Preparation * Review and interpret CAD drawings, including plans, elevations, and cross-sections * Prepare preliminary structural data including: * Structural and Sheeting loads * Material specifications * Applicable standards and codes * Define structural approach methodology for analysis and design First Pass Structural Analysis: * Develop structural models in STAAD Pro * Apply relevant load cases and combinations * Perform structural analysis and interpret results * Carry out EC3-based structural design checks * Prepare technical conclusions and recommendations Optimized / Second Pass Analysis: * Refine and optimize structural models for efficiency and cost-effectiveness * Re-evaluate load cases and structural behaviour * Perform optimized EC3 design checks * Compare first-pass vs optimized results and document differences * Provide final conclusions and structural recommendations Technical Coordination & Discussions: * Participate in engineering conference calls and technical review meetings * Explain modelling methodology, assumptions, and engineering reasoning * Support internal teams with technical clarification and design decisions Required Skills & Qualifications: * Bachelor’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering * Strong proficiency in STAAD Pro or RSTAB * Good understanding of steel structural analysis and design * Knowledge of Eurocode 3 (EC3) * Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications * Familiarity with industrial steel structures, warehouse systems, mezzanines, or racking structures is preferred * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Good communication and technical presentation ability Preferred Software Knowledge: * STAAD Pro * AutoCAD * Excel We are an Indian MSME with over 30 years of experience in racking, shelving, mezzanines, storage systems, and warehouse infrastructure solutions.
