About the Project We’re looking for a talented video creator and motion designer to help us produce a series of educational explainer videos for Cohesive, an AI-powered workspace that helps people organize context, work with AI agents, and create content in a visual Canvas. These videos will teach users how to understand and use different parts of the platform. The goal is to make each concept feel simple, engaging, and immediately useful, even for someone seeing Cohesive for the first time. The ideal videos will combine: Real in-product screen recordings Animated graphics and visual callouts Smooth zooms, transitions, and cursor movements Clear narration or voiceover Practical examples and use cases Light storytelling that keeps the viewer engaged We do not want traditional, slow-moving software tutorials. We want polished, modern videos that feel educational and entertaining while helping users quickly understand the product. What You’ll Create We will begin with a small number of videos, with the potential to build an ongoing relationship and create a larger educational video library. Each video will likely be approximately 1–3 minutes long and focus on a specific feature, workflow, or use case, such as: Understanding the Cohesive Canvas Adding files, webpages, and connected-app data as context Chatting with one or multiple elements on the Canvas Creating documents, presentations, images, and other outputs Organizing a project visually Turning scattered information into a finished campaign or deliverable Using Cohesive agents to move work forward Responsibilities You will help turn rough concepts, product recordings, and written materials into complete educational videos. Depending on your skill set, your responsibilities may include: Developing a clear structure or storyboard for each video Recording or refining in-product footage Editing screen recordings into a polished narrative Creating animated diagrams, titles, icons, and transitions Adding visual callouts that direct attention to important product actions Incorporating voiceover, captions, music, and sound effects Maintaining a consistent visual style across the video series Delivering final videos in formats appropriate for our website, onboarding materials, help center, and social channels We can provide access to the product, brand guidelines, feature information, and rough scripts or outlines. We are also interested in someone who can contribute creatively and recommend better ways to explain each concept. What We’re Looking For The right person will have experience creating polished videos for software, technology, or educational products. Strong candidates will have: A portfolio of SaaS explainer videos, product tutorials, or educational content Strong video editing and motion-design skills Experience combining screen recordings with animation An ability to make technical or unfamiliar concepts easy to understand Strong visual storytelling instincts Excellent attention to pacing and detail Clear communication and the ability to incorporate feedback Experience with tools such as After Effects, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Screen Studio, Camtasia, or similar software Experience creating content for AI products is helpful but not required. Creative Direction The videos should feel: Modern and polished Fast-moving but easy to follow Informative without feeling overly technical Friendly, confident, and approachable Visually engaging without becoming distracting Consistent with a modern AI and productivity platform We are open to creative recommendations, but the final style should feel more like a compelling product story than a basic screen-recorded walkthrough.
