Sales Assistant VA
Worldwide
Novasystemsusa.com We're a Massachusetts solar, HVAC, and energy-efficiency company. This is not a cold calling job. Our leads come from referral partners, a lead partner who sends us pre-qualified homeowners, and our own database of people who already raised their hand. The problem we're solving: our owners are good at closing, but deals slip through the cracks between the first conversation and the signature. Proposals go out and nobody follows up. Homeowners sit down with us and then go quiet. Partners send us referrals and never hear what happened. You'd own that middle. What you'd do: Move clients through our 3-Phase Program. We don't sell panels, we redesign a home's energy use in a sequence: Phase 1 is a no-cost energy assessment, Phase 2 is heating and cooling, Phase 3 is solar. You make sure every client is progressing to the next phase instead of stalling in one. Work the warm pipeline. Take in referral partner leads and partner-sourced leads, get them scheduled, and keep them moving. Own post-appointment follow-up. After a homeowner meets with our team, you review what happened, spot the real opportunities, and schedule the right follow-up for our owners to make the call. Good opportunities don't get forgotten. Chase proposals to a decision. When a proposal goes out, you follow up until that client is genuinely marked won or lost. No proposal sits in limbo. Keep partners in the loop. Our referral partners send us business. You update them on their referrals until the deal closes, so they keep sending more. Support the 5-star experience. We have a back-end team that handles everything after the sale. When a project completes, it comes back to you for the follow-up that turns a happy customer into a review and a referral. You're a fit if you: 1. Speak clear, warm, conversational English, comfortable talking to US homeowners 2. Are genuinely organized. This role is a pipeline, and pipelines fail when someone stops tracking 3. Can prioritize on your own. You'll know which follow-up matters most today 4. Can commit full-time to US Eastern business hours, plus some Saturdays 5. Have reliable internet and a quiet workspace Big plus: Spanish or Portuguese. Many of our homeowners speak one or the other. Not required: solar experience. We train. Our operations coordinator started as a trainee in March and now operates key parts of every project. Compensation: $6 to $8 per hour depending on experience, 40 hours per week Plus commission on assessments completed and deals closed. You earn when we earn. Paid weekly, long-term and stable. To apply: answer the screening questions. Include a link to a short voice recording (Loom, Vocaroo, or similar) introducing yourself in English. This is a client-facing phone role and we need to hear you. Applications without a voice link won't be reviewed.
