Role Description The Sales Development Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for leading and growing the sales development function at The Media First. Day-to-day responsibilities include overseeing lead generation activities, managing and coaching a sales development team, and optimizing sales processes to increase pipeline quality and conversion rates. The person in this role will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to define target markets, refine messaging, and implement outreach strategies. They will monitor performance metrics, prepare regular reports, and use data insights to improve team productivity and effectiveness. This role also involves contributing to sales training initiatives, maintaining CRM discipline, and ensuring a positive, results-oriented team culture. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication and active listening. Candidates should possess Lead Generation skills, including prospecting, qualifying leads, and managing outreach campaigns. Candidates should possess Team Management skills, including coaching, performance management, and motivating remote teams. Candidates should possess Sales and Sales Operations skills, including pipeline management, CRM usage, and process optimization. Relevant experience in B2B sales or media/marketing services, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements. Comfort working in a remote environment, demonstrating self-motivation, time management, and collaboration across time zones. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
