JOB TITLE: Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern DEPARTMENT: Sales REPORTS TO: Director of Enterprise Sales FLSA Classification: Non-Exempt POSITION CREATION: 06/24/2026 COMPENSATION: Hourly Summary: RealTime eClinical Solutions is seeking a Sales Development Representative (SDR) Intern to support the company’s outbound sales efforts targeting health systems, academic medical centers, and other healthcare organizations (HCOs). This is a paid, part-time summer internship performed remotely and reporting to the Director of Enterprise Sales. The intern focuses on the account and contact research that feeds RealTime’s AI-assisted outbound outreach, building a pipeline of well-researched target accounts for the sales team. Duties and responsibilities: • Research assigned target accounts within RealTime’s health system / HCO account list and identify the correct contacts and decision-maker personas (for example, Research IT or Clinical Research Director) using LinkedIn. • Complete account and contact research to a defined template that feeds RealTime’s outbound outreach sequence (using tools such as Clay, Instantly, and Claude). • Maintain accurate records and data hygiene in Salesforce and Instantly. • Meet weekly research throughput targets, ramping from approximately 10 researched accounts per week to approximately 20 per week at steady state. • Maintain a high standard of research quality, targeting at least 90% accuracy on contact identification and completeness, as measured through manager review. • Partner with the Director of Enterprise Sales to refine the research process and improve outreach effectiveness. Minimum Qualifications: • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program. • Strong attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy. • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a remote setting. • Strong written communication skills. • Comfortable learning and using new software tools. Preferred Qualifications: • Prior business development, sales development, or lead-generation experience. • Familiarity with CRM systems (for example, Salesforce), LinkedIn, and outreach or enrichment tools. • Exposure to or interest in AI-assisted sales workflows. • Interest in healthcare, life sciences, or clinical research technology. Additional Requirements: • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at a time. • A quiet workspace, ergonomic chair, and desk • High-speed internet from a reliable provider • Speak on a headset with the phone while typing using a computer.
