Summary

I am the Managing Director of a boutique consulting practice that supports enterprise, PE-backed, and healthcare organizations with transformation execution, PMO / governance, operating model, post-acquisition integration, and value realization work. I am looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented Sales Operations Assistant to support the administrative side of business development. This is not a sales closer role, appointment setter role, or client-facing role. The goal is to help keep my consulting pipeline organized, researched, followed up, and moving so I can focus on client conversations, proposals, delivery, and building a separate healthcare technology platform. The right person will help monitor consulting platforms, research potential leads, prepare outreach drafts, maintain a pipeline tracker, prepare call briefs, and keep follow-ups from falling through the cracks. Primary Responsibilities: * Monitor approved consulting platforms and opportunity sources * Review and summarize potential consulting opportunities * Score opportunities using an established fit rubric * Maintain a pipeline tracker / CRM * Research companies, intermediaries, recruiters, and potential client contacts * Identify relevant trigger events such as acquisitions, transformation initiatives, leadership changes, PE investment, integration needs, or operational improvement signals * Draft outreach messages for my review and approval * Prepare short opportunity briefs and call prep briefs * Track follow-ups and next steps * Support scheduling and calendar coordination * Prepare a short daily pipeline brief and weekly summary Important Boundaries: * You will not take client or recruiter calls * You will not send outbound messages without approval * You will not negotiate rates or submit proposals * You will not represent yourself as me * You will not run mass outreach or spam campaigns * You will not be responsible for closing business Ideal Background: * Experience supporting consultants, agencies, recruiters, fractional executives, coaches, or B2B professional services firms * Strong written English * Strong research and summarization skills * Experience with Google Sheets, Airtable, Notion, HubSpot, or similar CRM / tracking tools * Comfortable researching LinkedIn, company websites, consulting platforms, and public sources * Able to follow structured rubrics and operating procedures * Detail-oriented and reliable * Comfortable working independently with clear weekly outputs This Role Is Not For You If: * You primarily do high-volume lead generation * You describe yourself mainly as an appointment setter * You want to send hundreds of cold emails or LinkedIn messages * You need to be client-facing * You prefer vague direction instead of structured workflows * You cannot summarize research clearly and concisely Estimated Hours: 10 to 15 hours per week to start. This will begin as a 30-day paid trial. If the working relationship is strong, this may continue longer-term. Initial Paid Test Project: Before ongoing work begins, I will ask selected candidates to complete a paid test project. The test project will include building a small consulting sales tracker with: * 10 platform or recruiter contacts * 10 boutique healthcare, transformation, or consulting firms * 5 warm relationship follow-up examples For each entry, I will ask for: * Relevance * Fit score * Trigger event if applicable * Suggested next action * Source link * One draft outreach message To Apply: Please include: 1.
