Sales Representative for Wedding Events

Job Title - Commission-Only Wedding Venue Sales Representative (1099) – Westport Winery Event Center Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated, results-driven commission-only sales representative to help us grow wedding and private event bookings at Westport Winery Garden Resort in Westport, Washington. Our venue is a beautiful coastal winery offering stunning gardens, a wisteria-covered gazebo, vineyard views, indoor pavilions, and a unique winery + event center experience. We work with wedding planners, couples, and corporate clients looking for memorable destination-style events on the Washington coast. This is a 100% commission-based independent contractor (1099) position. You will earn a competitive commission on every confirmed booking you bring in. What You’ll Do: Prospect and build relationships with wedding planners, event planners, and direct couples Present our venue through calls, emails, virtual tours, and in-person meetings (when possible) Handle objections and close bookings Work with our team to coordinate site visits and proposals Maintain accurate records of leads and deals in a shared CRM Commission Structure: 10% commission on the venue rental fee for all weddings and events you generate (standard in the industry) Higher commissions or bonuses possible for high-value or multiple bookings Commission paid within 30 days after the client’s deposit is received Uncapped earning potential Requirements: Proven experience in wedding/event venue sales, hospitality sales, or B2B sales (preferred) Strong existing network of wedding planners is a big advantage Excellent communication and closing skills Self-motivated and able to work independently Professional demeanor and strong personal brand What We Provide: High-quality marketing materials, photos, videos, and brochures Venue training and ongoing support Shared leads (you will also generate your own) A beautiful, desirable venue that is easy to sell This is a great opportunity for someone who wants flexible hours and high earning potential based on performance.
