Experienced team looking for solid sales candidates for suPAR biomarker diagnostics company. See attached description. suPARbio | suPAR Biomarker LLC Business Development Liaison Independent contractor (1099) · Physician channel · Reports to the Head of Sales REMOTE, U.S. RECURRING, ACTIVITY-BASED NON-EXCLUSIVE 2026 About suPAR Bio suPAR Biomarker LLC (d/b/a “suPAR Bio,” suparbio.com) is the exclusive U.S. distributor of the suPAR blood test — a validated biomarker of systemic chronic inflammation developed over 25 years by ViroGates A/S, our Danish manufacturing partner. We package suPAR as a physician-ordered inflammation test and biological-age score, delivered through a built ordering-to-results platform: kit fulfilment, mobile and clinic phlebotomy, CLIA lab testing, and interpretive reporting. We launched in May 2026 and sell through physicians in functional medicine, longevity, concierge, women’s health and lifestyle-medicine practices. The test is a Laboratory Developed Test offered through physicians on a cash-pay basis. Our science is anchored by suPAR’s discoverer, Dr. Jesper Eugen-Olsen. The role Opening a physician account is the beginning of the work, not the end of it. The Business Development Liaison is the role that keeps those accounts alive: you hold a book of physician practices and you make sure the program actually runs inside them — that staff know the workflow, that patients understand what the Health Profile is for, and that the profile actually gets completed. You will be engaged under our Master Business Development Agreement and Statement of Work No. 1, and you will report to the Head of Sales. This is a stewardship and engagement role rather than a hunting role. If you like opening doors and moving on, the Specialist role is the better fit; this one rewards people who build a book and stay with it. What you’ll do — Steward a book of physician accounts. Hold ongoing relationships with the practices attributed to you — before and after purchase — as the person they call when something about the program is unclear. — Support the registration and completion workflow. Help approved contacts, practice staff and users understand suPAR Bio registration, onboarding and the questionnaire-completion process. — Explain the Health Profile, factually. Provide non-clinical education on the purpose and use of the demographic and lifestyle questionnaire, using approved materials and messaging. — Drive completion. Encourage accurate completion of the designated non-clinical profile fields — this is the activity the role is measured and paid on. — Follow up and unblock. User follow-up, engagement and general process support, in line with our approved communications standards. — Keep complete records. Contemporaneous records of outreach, meetings, follow-up communications and account notes. It is a contractual obligation, and it is what protects your attribution. — Report what you learn. Account status, engagement patterns, practice feedback and anything that changes how we should support a segment. The line you may never cross This role sits closer to patients than any other in our field program, which makes one boundary absolute. Your Statement of Work states it directly: you shall not provide medical advice, interpret results, or influence clinical decision-making. — You never interpret a result. Not a number, not a band, not a biological-age score — including when someone asks you directly, and they will. The interpretation belongs to the ordering physician. — You never advise on what to do about one. No lifestyle prescriptions, no supplement suggestions, no “people usually find that…”. Encouraging completion of a questionnaire is not the same as counselling someone about their health, and the distance between those two things is the role. — You never handle an elevated result. Results above 6.0 ng/mL trigger an internal protocol that notifies the ordering physician. Follow-up is entirely theirs. If a patient raises a result with you, route it to the practice and say plainly that it is their physician’s call. — You never present as a clinician. Or as an employee, or as anyone able to bind the company. — You never make claims about outcomes. No guarantee that anything will improve, and no claim that suPAR diagnoses, screens for, predicts or rules out any condition. It is a laboratory-developed test, not FDA-cleared, and you disclose that proactively. You are also outside the commercial conversation: the price to a practice is fixed at $295 and uniform, and you may not discuss, calculate or illustrate what a practice makes, offer discounts or free kits, or negotiate anything. How you’re paid Compensation is set in your Statement of Work and is recurring — you earn on completions inside your book for as long as those accounts keep testing. — Calculated monthly in arrears; payment within 30 days of month end. — You receive a monthly compensation statement showing the completions credited to you. — Any dispute about a statement must be raised in writing within five business days. — Not payable: duplicate, incomplete, self-generated, manipulated or fraudulent submissions, or events that cannot be validly attributed to you. How you’re measured One standard, and it is contractual rather than discretionary. It is measured per account, over a quarter, and it comes with time to fix. Read the threshold carefully, because it is a fair one: you are measured on the share of available completions you convert, not on how much a practice orders. A small account that engages well is a good account. Who we’re looking for — A medical or healthcare background. Diagnostics, laboratory services, medical devices, pharmaceutical or practice-facing account management. You are comfortable in a clinical setting and credible with clinical staff. — Account management instincts, not hunting instincts. The people who do well here are the ones who follow up on the fourth attempt, know the practice manager’s name, and notice when an account has gone quiet. — Genuine comfort with the boundary. You can be warm, helpful and persistent about a questionnaire while never once straying into advice. If saying “that’s a question for your physician” feels unnatural to you, this is the wrong role. — Patience for process. Much of the work is helping busy practice staff complete something that is not their priority. That takes tact and repetition. — Administrative discipline. Same-day logging, accurate records, correct use of your attribution link. Your records are the basis of your pay. — Clean standing. Not excluded, debarred or suspended from any federal or state healthcare programme, and carrying commercially reasonable liability insurance. Conflicts of interest — please read before applying Worth checking against your own situation now rather than at contracting, because this is where experienced healthcare contractors most often find a problem. — You may not hold ownership, employment, a contractual relationship or any financial interest in a healthcare provider, laboratory, telehealth platform, phlebotomy network or reseller that may order, perform or financially benefit from the suPAR Bio test. — You may not take compensation from both suPAR Bio and any entity that earns revenue from ordering or processing the test. — You may not steward an account you are employed by, contracted with, advising or economically aligned with. In that case the organisation should come in directly as a customer instead. — You must disclose any current or contemplated relationship where you could receive a financial benefit related to diagnostic testing or referrals, and keep disclosing as new ones arise. You may carry other product lines — the non-compete covers only direct substitutes for the suPAR test. Before you can start You may not contact anyone on our behalf until every step below is complete and management has confirmed in writing that you are approved to begin. One hard deadline: if training, attestation and activation are not complete within 30 days of your effective date, the Statement of Work may be terminated. Where you can work The test is for adults and is not offered for patients under 18. There are no exclusive territories — accounts are attributed and protected individually. What we provide — Approved educational, onboarding and patient-facing materials, and communications templates. — Onboarding and compliance training, plus ongoing product and scientific education with our clinical team. — A book of physician accounts, and your attribution link. — A monthly compensation statement showing every completion credited to you. — Access to the Partner Portal and the support team that handles physicians and patients directly. — A named manager in the Head of Sales, and a direct line to compliance for anything you are unsure of. Terms To apply Send a short note and your background our UpWork account. Tell us where you have managed clinical or practice relationships, how you have handled being the non-clinical person in a clinical conversation, and whether you are interested in the Specialist role alongside this one. If you hold any interest in a lab, telehealth platform, phlebotomy network or provider organization, say so up front.
