SALESFORCE CONSULTANT — CLOSE THE GAPS & OWN GO-LIVE CUTOVER Project-based contract | Immediate start | Remote (U.S. business-hours overlap required) AT A GLANCE Role: Salesforce Consultant — close a specific list of remaining configuration gaps on an org that's already ~98% built, and own the cutover to a live, adopted system Type: Project-based contract, bounded scope. This is not a from-scratch build and not a full data-migration role — a separate internal resource owns the bulk data cleanup/load Location: Remote — must overlap several hours daily with U.S. business hours (PT/CT/ET) Rate: $80/hr Duration: ~4-6 weeks / roughly 90-120 hours to go-live, with the possibility of short stabilization support after Start: Immediate — we are looking to bring someone on right away ABOUT TAX RELIEF HELPERS Tax Relief Helpers helps individuals and businesses resolve tax debt and navigate IRS issues. We run a high-volume, multi-channel lead-generation operation — direct mail, TV, radio, digital, and purchased/transferred calls — feeding a phone-driven sales floor and a fulfillment team that does the actual resolution work. We are licensed for Salesforce (Sales Cloud Enterprise + Shield). Our implementation partner already built roughly 98% of the org: Person Accounts, an Opportunity process, a Resolution/Additional Services object, a Web-to-Lead form and assignment rule, RingCentral CTI, Conga Composer document templates, Box Sign/DocuSign, payment objects and gateway components, Salesforce Shield encryption on our PII fields, and an initial data load. Their engagement closed before the system went live or got adopted. We need someone to close the remaining gaps, verify everything actually works end-to-end, and drive us to a real go-live. THE ROLE This is NOT a "build the CRM from zero" role, and it is NOT a full data-migration role. Most of the heavy lifting — the object model, the core automation, the major integrations — is already done. What's missing is a short, specific list of finishing work, verification that what was built actually functions correctly (especially lead-source attribution), and someone to drive UAT and the cutover itself. You'll start by getting oriented on an org someone else built — reviewing what exists, what's documented, and what's genuinely outstanding — rather than designing a data model from a blank page. From there, you'll close the specific configuration gaps below, confirm attribution is captured correctly, and own the path to go-live. This engagement ends at go-live and a clean handoff. We are separately hiring a Salesforce administrator to own day-to-day maintenance once the dust settles — your job is to close the gaps, verify the build, and document things well enough that handoff is easy. HOW THE ENGAGEMENT FLOWS 1. Get oriented, fast. Review the existing build (objects, Flows, integrations, prior implementation documentation) and confirm what's actually done versus outstanding. No blank-page discovery required — the design decisions are already made. 2. Close the specific configuration gaps. These are known and bounded: - Finish three Conga Composer merge templates handed back to us — an IRS financial-disclosure form, an IRS power-of-attorney form, and our own client service agreements — mapping Salesforce fields so they auto-populate correctly per case. - Finalize our payment gateway configuration (Chargent / National Processing) — package setup, tokenization, and sandbox testing. - Confirm Salesforce Shield field-level encryption on our PII fields is correctly applied without breaking reports, dashboards, or automation. - Review and finalize profiles/permission sets so each department sees what it should. 3. Verify attribution end-to-end. Confirm our RingCentral CTI integration (click-to-call, screen-pop, call logging) is capturing lead source, vendor, and channel correctly on records — this is the single biggest thing standing between us and finally measuring revenue by marketing source instead of just call volume. 4. Drive UAT. Build or refine UAT scripts, support execution across departments, and get us to a real, documented sign-off — not just a soft launch. 5. Own the cutover. Co-lead the production go-live, validate data and workflows post-cutover, and provide short hands-on stabilization support immediately after. 6. Support training & document the handoff. Help prepare train-the-trainer materials and support our internal SMEs delivering end-user training, and leave clear documentation of what you touched, tested, and verified so the incoming administrator isn't starting blind. WHAT YOU'LL DO - Finish the Conga Composer build: complete the three handed-back merge templates (IRS 433-B, IRS 2848 POA, service agreements), mapping fields so documents auto-populate accurately per case. - Finalize payment integration: complete Chargent/National Processing configuration, tokenization, and sandbox validation. - Verify Shield encryption: confirm field-level encryption on PII fields works cleanly with existing reports, dashboards, and Flow automation. - Verify CTI attribution: confirm RingCentral call logging and screen-pop correctly capture and persist lead source/vendor/channel data on records. - Tune permissions: review and finalize profiles/permission sets across departments. - Drive UAT to sign-off: write or refine test scripts, coordinate execution with department stakeholders, and document formal acceptance. - Own the cutover: lead production validation and go-live, with short post-cutover stabilization support. - Support adoption: help prepare training materials and support our SMEs in rolling out end-user training. - Document everything: leave a clear written record of what was verified, fixed, and configured, for handoff to our incoming administrator. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE These are the must-haves. Please only apply if you can point to real work in each area. - Salesforce administration: hands-on Salesforce Admin experience; Salesforce Administrator (ADM-201) certification required. - Conga Composer (or equivalent merge-doc tool): proven experience building document templates that map Salesforce fields into legal/financial forms. - Payment gateway integration: experience configuring a payment tool inside Salesforce (Chargent, or a comparable gateway integration) including tokenization and sandbox testing. - Salesforce Shield / field-level encryption: hands-on experience with Shield or equivalent, including validating that encrypted fields don't break reporting or automation. - CTI/telephony integration: experience with a computer-telephony integration (RingCentral or similar), specifically verifying that call data and source attribution are captured correctly. - UAT & sign-off: experience writing test scripts and driving cross-department UAT to a documented, formal sign-off. - Fast orientation on existing orgs: demonstrated ability to pick up someone else's partially built Salesforce org and get productive within days, not weeks. - Security & PII: comfortable with least-privilege access and careful handling of sensitive customer financial data. WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE ACTUALLY WORK Beyond the technical checklist, the right person brings: - Precision over invention: you're as comfortable verifying and finishing someone else's work as building your own from scratch. - Ownership & autonomy: you can prioritize, decide, and ship without being managed task by task. - Strong communication: clear, proactive written updates and reliable overlap with U.S. business hours. - Discretion: trustworthy with credentials, sensitive systems, and customer financial data. - Speed: you can get oriented on someone else's partially built org quickly and start making progress within days. NICE TO HAVE - Salesforce Platform App Builder or Sales Cloud / Service Cloud Consultant certifications. - Experience in a lead-generation, financial services, or a tax/legal business. - Familiarity with IRS forms/tax-resolution workflows or similar regulated document processes. - Experience migrating off or replacing a legacy CRM (IRSLogics or similar). - Comfort with light scripting (Apex basics, or JavaScript/Python for integration glue). ENGAGEMENT & TERMS This is a project-based contract (roughly 4-6 weeks / 90-120 hours) to close the remaining configuration gaps, verify the build, and drive go-live — full stop. We are hiring a separate Salesforce administrator to own the system afterward, so this role is scoped to the finish line, not an ongoing commitment. Rate is $80/hr. Remote, with several hours of daily overlap with U.S. business hours required. We're looking to move quickly — please apply only if you can start immediately. HOW THIS FITS WITH OUR OTHER TECHNICAL ROLE We are recruiting two complementary technical roles with different skill sets. This posting is only for the Salesforce consultant. A separate posting covers a full-stack/WordPress web developer. If you are strong in both, mention it, but apply to the role that best matches your core expertise. HOW TO APPLY In your application, please answer the screening questions below and include links or a short portfolio of Salesforce work you have delivered. Applications without concrete examples will not be considered. 1. Describe a Conga Composer (or similar merge-document tool) template you built. What was the data model, and how did you handle field mapping? 2. Have you configured a payment gateway inside Salesforce (Chargent, National Processing, or similar)? Describe the setup and how you validated it in sandbox. 3. Have you set up or verified a CTI integration (RingCentral or similar) for call logging and lead-source attribution? How did you confirm the data was actually flowing correctly? 4. Tell us about a time you inherited a partially built Salesforce org from someone else and had to get it live quickly. What was your process for getting oriented? 5. What's your approach to writing UAT scripts and driving sign-off across multiple departments? 6. What Salesforce certifications do you hold, what is your timezone and weekly availability, and how soon could you start?
