Salesforce Developer for Quote-to-Cash Platform

We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to help evolve a business-critical Quote-to-Cash platform used by our sales, operations, finance, and customer success teams. Our organization sells complex B2B products and services across multiple regions. Salesforce serves as the system of engagement, while several downstream systems handle inventory, fulfillment, invoicing, and financial reporting. We have an established Salesforce environment and are looking for a developer who can contribute both strategically and hands-on. This is not a simple admin role. We need someone comfortable designing scalable solutions, building custom functionality, and integrating Salesforce with external systems. This is expected to become a long-term engagement for the right person. Current Environment Salesforce Sales Cloud Salesforce CPQ Experience Cloud Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) REST APIs ERP integration Azure-based middleware services Current Challenges Our quote approval process involves multiple business units, product lines, pricing models, and regional requirements. One area we are actively improving is preserving historical pricing and approval context across quote amendments, renewals, and contract expansions. This has become increasingly important for forecasting, auditability, and revenue operations. We are looking for someone who understands these types of enterprise workflow challenges and can help design solutions that remain maintainable as the organization grows. Responsibilities Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex and Lightning Web Components Enhance CPQ configuration and approval workflows Build and maintain integrations with ERP, finance, and operational systems Design scalable data models and automation strategies Improve platform performance and maintainability Participate in architecture discussions and technical planning Troubleshoot production issues and implement enhancements Required Experience 5+ years of Salesforce development experience Strong Apex development skills Experience building Lightning Web Components Salesforce API and integration experience Experience working with complex enterprise workflows Understanding of Salesforce security and sharing models Strong communication skills Preferred Experience Salesforce CPQ Experience Cloud Azure integrations ERP integrations Revenue operations or Quote-to-Cash systems CI/CD for Salesforce deployments To Apply Please include: Brief summary of your Salesforce development experience Largest Salesforce implementation you've worked on Example of a complex workflow or integration you designed Your preferred hourly rate and weekly availability We're looking for someone who enjoys solving business process problems, not just implementing tickets.
