Hello, We would like to develop software to automatically recognize band positions on test strips, determine their positions, measure their intensity, and export the results to Excel. Based on certain criteria, the software should provide a final interpretation of the test result as Positive, Negative, or Undetermined. BAND POSITION AND REFERENCE In the attached PDF file, the C1 band should be used as the first position whenever it is present. Starting from the C1 band, the software should identify the expected locations of subsequent bands at approximately 3 mm intervals until the last expected band position on the strip. (If the C1 band is not present, the software should use the designated reference band as the first position.) BAND POSITION LABELING AND INTENSITY MEASUREMENT We would like the software to identify and label all expected band positions, regardless of whether an actual band is detected at that position. Each expected position should be marked with either a green, yellow or red label based on the band intensity. The labels should be displayed at the expected 3 mm intervals along the strip. Even when no visible band is detected at an expected position, the software should still identify that position marked as green and record the corrected intensity. All the corrected band intensity should be included in the exported excel results. RESULT OUTPUT The software should export the analysis results to an Excel file, including: - Reference band used (Ideally C1) - Band labels and intensity for all the bands - Final interpretation by the software: Positive, Negative, or Undetermined Does this make sense?
