Seamless Pattern Designer – Signature Pinstripe Collection About YUMAE HAUS YUMAE HAUS is a premium Australian sleepwear and lifestyle brand inspired by slow living, quiet comfort and timeless design. Our focus is on creating elevated essentials that feel luxurious, feminine and effortlessly wearable. We are looking for a talented Surface Pattern / Textile Designer to help create our signature pinstripe pattern that will become a recognisable part of our brand identity. The Project This is not simply a stripe pattern. We're looking to develop an original signature pinstripe that is unique to YUMAE HAUS. The design should feel timeless, premium and distinctive enough to become a recognisable element across future collections. The inspiration images provided are for creative direction only and must not be copied or closely replicated. Responsibilities • Create several original pinstripe concepts based on the creative brief. • Explore different stripe layouts, spacing and proportions while maintaining a minimal aesthetic. • Develop the selected concept into a technically perfect seamless repeat suitable for textile production. • Create multiple colourways that work cohesively as a collection. • Prepare artwork that is production-ready for fabric printing. • Refine the design through revisions based on feedback. Design Direction The collection should feel: • Premium • Minimal • Timeless • Feminine • Soft and elevated • Quiet luxury The stripe should become a signature feature of the YUMAE HAUS brand rather than following existing market designs. Initial Colour Direction Current colour concepts include: • Burgundy with soft pink pinstripes • Pink with warm brown pinstripes • Butter yellow with baby blue pinstripes • Ivory with soft sage pinstripes I'm also open to your recommendations based on current colour trends. If you believe another 1–2 colour combinations would create a stronger and more cohesive collection, I'd love to see your suggestions. Colours should feel refined and premium, avoiding harsh contrasts, bright white or black.
