AI Search Optimization + SEO (Supplements E-Commerce)

This is not a basic SEO task. We need a strategist and executor who understands both traditional search and the emerging GEO (generative engine optimization) landscape, and own our Google Shopping and Merchant Center setup end-to-end for our new Supplements brand. You will be responsible for driving sales organically. What you'll own: - GEO strategy: optimize brand and product content to surface in AI-generated answers (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Bing Copilot) - Full technical SEO audit and implementation on Shopify (site speed, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, structured data) - Product feed management and optimization in Google Merchant Center. Clean titles, attributes, GTINs, correct categorization - Schema markup implementation (Product, Review, FAQ, BreadcrumbList, Organization) to maximize rich result eligibility - Link building / digital PR strategy — wellness and health publishers, ingredient-specific roundups, ingredient authority pages - Reporting: monthly dashboard tracking organic traffic, AI citation appearances, Shopping impressions/clicks, and ranking movement Must-have skills - Proven Google Shopping / Merchant Center experience with a track record of feed approvals and Shopping campaign performance - Deep technical SEO skills — not just on-page; you know how to fix crawl issues, implement structured data manually, and read Search Console like a native language - Hands-on GEO / AI search optimization experience — you should be able to speak concretely about what you've done to appear in AI overviews or LLM-generated answers, not just theoretically - Experience in health, wellness, beauty, or CPG e-commerce is a strong plus - Shopify experience — you can implement changes directly or brief a developer precisely
