NYC Videographer Needed — July 10 & July 24 — Student Talks at Barnard/Columbia Job Post Dates: Friday, July 10 and Friday, July 24 Location: Barnard College / Columbia University area, NYC Rate: $400 fixed total for both filming dates Editing: No editing required — filming only I’m looking for a second videographer to help cover student TED-style talks on campus. The client has split the presentations into two rooms running at the same time. I’ll be covering one room, and I need another shooter to independently cover the second room. This is a straightforward filming job: student speakers in a classroom, roughly 5–8 minutes per talk. The original client brief asks for 4K 16:9 single-camera coverage, speaker-focused framing, clean audio, and organized raw delivery for an external editor. You should be comfortable shooting: 4K / 16:9 / horizontal Log or flat picture profile — S-Log, C-Log, V-Log, F-Log, etc. Stable tripod footage Medium-wide speaker framing Clean speaker audio — lav preferred Basic exposure control in a classroom setting No post-production is required. I just need clean, organized raw footage and audio files after each shoot day. I’ll provide the basic run-of-show and slate instructions. Each student will do a quick slate before starting so the editor can identify the files.
