We are seeking a skilled video editor to create engaging content for our social media platforms using CapCut. Role: CapCut Editor / AI Short-Form Video Specialist (ongoing, law-firm marketing) About us We're a personal injury law firm licensed in California, Texas, and Washington, headquartered in Newport Beach. We're building an in-house AI video pipeline to produce viral, emotionally punchy short-form videos for X, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. We're looking for a CapCut power-user to be the assembly-and-polish layer of that pipeline. The vision We're modeling our approach on the AI-creator workflow that powered the recent viral Spencer Pratt campaign videos: generate cinematic AI imagery and clips, then cut them into tight, story-driven shorts. Our pipeline is: Concept and script (handled in-house) AI image and video generation in Grok Imagine (handled in-house) Assembly, pacing, captions, sound design, and branding in CapCut — this is your role Publishing to social (handled in-house) You're are generating the AI footage. You're the editor who turns a folder of AI clips and stills into a finished 15–40 second vertical video that hits hard in the first 2 seconds and holds to the end. Content concept Our format is a clear hero-vs-obstacle narrative: an injured person who was wronged, an obstacle (an insurance company or negligent party), and our firm as the advocate who levels the field. One simple, emotionally legible idea per video. Think cinematic, bold, fast-paced — not corporate. Deliverables (per video) Finished vertical 9:16 export, social-ready Punchy hook in the opening seconds Burned-in animated captions (we'll provide copy) Music and SFX synced to cuts (licensed/royalty-free only) Our logo, brand colors, and a closing call-to-action card Specs and style 9:16 vertical primary; ability to also export 1:1 and 16:9 a plus Trend-aware pacing, captioning, and transitions Clean, premium feel — high contrast, confident typography Must-have skills Advanced CapCut (desktop) — multi-track editing, keyframing, auto-captions, audio sync, templates Strong instinct for short-form retention and hooks Comfortable working from AI-generated source clips and stitching them seamlessly Reliable turnaround and clear communication Nice to have Experience editing AI-generated footage (Grok, Sora, Veo, Runway, etc.) Familiarity with Grok Imagine Sound design chops Important — legal advertising This is attorney advertising in regulated jurisdictions. AI-generated dramatizations must be labeled as such, and videos can't imply guaranteed outcomes. We handle final compliance review, but you should be comfortable working within those constraints (no fabricated client testimonials, clear "dramatization"/advertising labeling where needed). To apply, please include 2–3 short-form samples (ideally AI footage or fast-paced narrative cuts) Your typical turnaround for a 30-second video
