Seeking Individuals with Bipolar Disorder to Evaluate an AI Support Chatbot

Seeking Individuals Diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder to Evaluate an AI Support Chatbot We are seeking adults who have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder to participate in a research and development project evaluating an AI-powered support chatbot currently under development. What participation involves: * Engage in approximately one hour of conversation with the AI chatbot. * Complete a written evaluation describing your impressions of the conversation, including the chatbot's empathy, helpfulness, accuracy, and therapeutic qualities. * Additional evaluation opportunities may be offered in the future, but there is no obligation to participate beyond the initial session. Who can participate: * Adults (18 years or older). * Individuals who have previously been diagnosed with bipolar disorder by a licensed healthcare professional. * Individuals who feel comfortable discussing personal experiences, moods, stressors, and related topics with an AI system. * Individuals with fast, stable internet connections and access to Google Drive. Important Information This chatbot is an experimental system under development and is not a licensed mental health professional, therapist, counselor, or medical provider. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or replace professional mental health care, crisis intervention, or emergency services. Prior to participating, all testers will be asked to review and sign an informed consent agreement outlining the terms of participation, including confidentiality protections and their limited exceptions. Conversations will be treated as confidential and used solely for research, evaluation, and improvement of the system. Confidentiality may be limited where disclosure is required by applicable law or where there is a reasonable belief that disclosure is necessary to address an imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or another person.
