Senior AEO Operator
Worldwide
The opportunity We're building out a portfolio of evidence-cited affiliate-authority review sites in a consumer product category. Two dormant domains are being converted in the first phase; additional commissioned properties follow based on measurement gates. The model is industrial-scale URL coverage across every commercial query variant, named-credentialed expert review on every page, full JSON-LD schema stack, llms.txt + AI-bot robots.txt allow-list, dense internal-link clusters, and persona/condition/certification long-tail. The reason we're hiring: we have something most operators in this lane don't — a real, public, credentialed expert review board with verified professional clinicians, plus a deep evidence library (hundreds of documented customer-outcome stories, dozens of named professional-tester relationships, original research with Tier-1 press coverage). The work is layering that evidence onto an industrial-scale URL footprint, with AI accelerating production and a strict canonical fact spine governing quality. What you'll do - Build out 50–100 pages/month across 2 sites in Phase 1, scaling to 4–5 sites by month 6 - Work within an existing canonical operating system that defines attribution standard, FTC kill switches, verified product spec, schema patterns, and approved certification claims — you don't invent these, you execute against them - Use AI tools aggressively for production acceleration — prose drafting, FAQ generation from existing quotes, schema JSON-LD generation, image alt text, internal link suggestions, redirect mapping, persona-compound URL backlog generation - Layer real, verified evidence into every page — credentialed expert quotes (pre-cleared library + commissioned-quote pipeline), customer transformation stories, professional-tester data, original research with verifiable citations - Deploy full schema stack on every page — Article+reviewedBy with named Person@id, Product+Offer where applicable, ItemList for round-ups, FAQPage, VideoObject. Validate via Google Rich Results before publish. - Coordinate with sibling content surfaces (other editorial sites, partner placements) via a weekly cross-surface cadence to prevent collisions - Hit pre-publish quality gates: a 20-item checklist covering URL pattern, title freshness, expert attribution, schema completeness, AI-bot accessibility, internal linking, evidence layer presence, and FTC compliance Day-to-day You'll be pulling URLs from a backlog, identifying the right credentialed reviewer for each page from a defined quote bank, drafting the page using a 12-slot template (round-up) or 14-slot template (single-product review), pulling evidence from indexed asset libraries, deploying schema, validating, submitting for approval. The principal reviews every page in the first 3 months; after that, spot-check governance. The work is execution-heavy, not strategy-heavy. The strategy is already built. You're a senior operator executing against a defined model at high velocity without dropping quality. Required - Demonstrable history of building or operating affiliate-authority / review-site properties at scale. Send URLs of properties you've built or run — we'll evaluate the schema stack, attribution patterns, internal-link topology, llms.txt deployment, and AI citation pickup - Deep technical SEO + AEO fluency: schema.org JSON-LD (Article, Product, ItemList, FAQPage, VideoObject, Person/Physician), schema validation workflows, llms.txt, robots.txt AI-bot configuration, sameAs entity-graph reasoning - Modern AI workflow for content production — comfort routing different stages of production through different tools (drafting, FAQ generation, schema, alt text, internal links). Tell us what stack you'd use and why - FTC and brand-safety discipline — connected-endorsement guidance, medical-claim avoidance, certification claim verification, comparative-advertising restraint. You should be able to recite the 5 categories of claims that get a US consumer products brand into FTC trouble without thinking - Comfort with WordPress (we use it; you should too) + Google Search Console + Ahrefs or equivalent + the schema validation toolchain - High output velocity. We expect 25+ pages/week solo, more if you're running writers. If your current ceiling is 5–10 pages/week, we're not the right fit. Plus signs - You've built or operated a property that wins AI citations in ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, or Claude — and you can show citation pickup data - You've worked on YMYL (your money or your life) content categories before — health, finance, medical-adjacent - You've coordinated content across multiple sister sites without triggering cannibalization - You've handled an editorial migration / dormant-domain revival before — link equity preservation, redirect mapping, content kill criteria - You know how to differentiate sister sites — design template, voice register, schema patterns — enough that they read as independent properties rather than a network To apply, send the following (we read every one, and we screen out applications missing any item) 1. Three URLs of affiliate-authority / review sites you've built or operated. Include your role on each and approximately how many pages you shipped. If the work is under NDA, anonymized examples are fine but be specific about what you contributed. 2. A 200-word approach essay: how you'd take on a site at 50 pages of dormant legacy content and ramp it to 500 pages over 6 months while preserving link equity and hitting AI citation lift. Be specific about your AI workflow. 3. One technical question to filter for actual AEO fluency: What is the standard filename for the citation-directive / AI-engine-guidance file that lives at the root of a domain, and what is the schema.org property used inside an Article schema to attribute an expert clinical reviewer with full credentials? (Two short answers — we're filtering, not interrogating.) 4. Your proposed hourly rate, with a one-sentence note on what your typical engagement structure looks like (solo operator, with writers, agency, etc.) 5. Use the code word ANCHOR in the first sentence of your application so we know you read this whole post. Applications without the code word get auto-filtered. What we offer A defined operating system. Real evidence assets to work with — not "expert-approved" boilerplate. A principal who reviews work fast and gives clean feedback. Long-term engagement with intent to extend if the model is working. Compensation negotiated based on your demonstrated track record and rate proposal. This is not a fit if: you're a generalist content writer, you charge per word, you've never deployed schema, you don't know what llms.txt is, you can't show real properties you've built, or you bristle at canonical kill-switch lists. We have a defined model and we need an operator to execute it at velocity. We're not paying to teach AEO.
