Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager (Full-Time) – 5+ Years Experience Required Job Description About the Role: We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Full-Time Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager. This is a comprehensive role that spans daily transactional accounting, payroll, treasury management, and financial forecasting. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of full-cycle accounting experience and is a power user of modern ERP or cloud accounting systems. We are primarily looking for an accounting expert who can quickly adapt to our tech stack, manage multiple bank accounts, and provide critical financial insights to leadership. Key Responsibilities 1. Accounting, Reconciliations & Month-End Close * Perform daily cash application and account reconciliations. * Manage bank reconciliations across four bank accounts and one credit card. * Prepare and post month-end journal entries. * Review posted invoices, bills, revenue/expense entries, payroll entries, and reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy. 2. Financial Reporting, Budgeting & Forecasting * Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Generate budget-to-actual reporting and analyze variances. * Develop income statement budgeting and forecasting models. * Manage cash forecasting and working capital cash management. * Provide strategic financial feedback and insights to leadership. 3. Treasury, Cash Management & AR/AP * Execute EFTs, wires, and one-time manual payments securely. * Track daily cash management and monitor working capital. * Run and analyze customer credit reporting. * Manage customer statements, proactive communication, and collections. * Review vendor contracts and lead dispute resolutions when necessary. * Monitor dedicated customer and vendor email inboxes. 4. Onboarding, Setup & Operations * Manage customer, vendor, and employee onboarding processes. * Handle new customer setup in our system (training provided). * Oversee payroll setup and provide ongoing HR support. * Maintain and update customer/carrier packets, insurance certificates, and tax filings. * Track operational KPIs and build performance reports. * Identify opportunities for process improvement and accounting automation. * Design and maintain commission-only payroll modeling for the sales team. Required Skills & Qualifications * Experience: Minimum 5+ years of full-cycle accounting experience is strictly required. * Software Tech Stack: Mastery of major cloud accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite, or Sage). Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills are essential for financial modeling and forecasting. * Attention to Detail: Proven ability to independently manage complex, multi-account reconciliations without oversight. * Communication: Excellent written and verbal English skills. * Proactive Mindset: We are looking for an analytical thinker who doesn't just run the numbers, but actively looks for ways to optimize cash flow and automate manual workflows.
