Senior Advance Steel Detailer & Consultant – Conveyor Projects + Team Training

Overview: We are an established detailing and coordination firm looking for a high-level Autodesk Advance Steel Expert. This is a unique, multi-phased role combining immediate fabrication project execution with a strong consulting and team-training component. If you are a senior industrial detailer who enjoys mentoring and setting up efficient team workflows, this position offers a stable, long-term partnership with an opportunity to step into a Lead Detailer / Management role. Key Responsibilities: Fabrication Detailing: Deliver high-quality, shop-ready 3D models and workshop fabrication drawings strictly for conveyor assemblies and material handling systems. Team Training & Consulting: Act as a strategic consultant to help us establish our internal Advance Steel templates, databases, and workflows. You will lead the structured training and upskilling of 3–4 of our in-house generalist drafters. Leadership: Manage quality control, model coordination, and drafting standards as our internal team scales. Project Lifecycle & Future Scope: Immediate focus: Specialized conveyor fabrication detailing (shop drawings, NC cutting files, and material data exports). Future expansion: Our upcoming pipeline will expand heavily into full structural steel detailing alongside complex bulk material handling systems. Required Qualifications: Proven, advanced mastery of Autodesk Advance Steel with a deep portfolio of heavy industrial or material handling projects. Prior experience designing, detailing, or checking conveyor systems. Demonstrated experience training, mentoring, or acting as a BIM/CAD consultant for structural detailing teams. Strong English communication skills for leading training sessions and clear documentation.
