# Senior Altium Designer Needed – PCB Layout for Precision Measurement Board (ESP32-S3 + ADS1263 + ADS1256) ## Project Overview We are looking for an experienced Altium Designer specialist to complete the PCB design of a precision measurement board. This is a paid test project and serves as the entry point for a significantly larger long-term hardware development program. The project is already highly specified. We provide: * Detailed engineering specification (25+ pages) * PCB mechanical concept * Component placement concept * BOM * Pin assignments * Routing rules * Manufacturing requirements * 3D reference views * Acceptance criteria The goal is not only to evaluate the final PCB but also the engineering process, communication quality, and attention to detail. --- ## Hardware Overview Main components: * Waveshare ESP32-S3-ETH DevKit * ADS1263 (32-bit precision ADC) * ADS1256 (24-bit ADC) * LP2985-3.3V LDO * PC817 isolated zero-cross detector * Analog coax input pads * JLCPCB-compatible manufacturing PCB: * 100 mm × 100 mm * 2-layer board * Bottom layer dedicated to GND plane * Manual routing only * JLCPCB production target --- ## Scope of Work You will create: 1. Complete Altium schematic 2. Complete PCB layout 3. Component libraries (if required) 4. 3D STEP-integrated PCB project 5. Manufacturing outputs Required deliverables: * Altium Project (.PrjPcb) * Schematic files * PCB files * Gerber package * Drill files * Pick & Place (CPL) * BOM with LCSC part numbers * STEP export * Design report --- ## Important Design Requirements * Altium Designer only * No KiCad * No Eagle * No EasyEDA Routing requirements: * No autorouter * 100% manual routing * Critical signals first * Power routing second * Remaining nets last Special attention required for: * Analog ground strategy * Star ground implementation * ADC signal integrity * Crystal routing * Decoupling placement * Isolation area around mains zero-cross detector --- ## Manufacturing Target Manufacturer: JLCPCB Requirements: * JLCPCB-compatible BOM * JLCPCB-compatible CPL file * Economic PCBA compatibility * Standard 2-layer production rules --- ## Communication Requirements We expect: * Excellent communication * Daily progress updates * Screenshots after major milestones * Immediate clarification of uncertainties * Structured engineering workflow --- ## Required Experience Please apply only if you have: * Strong Altium Designer experience * Mixed-signal PCB design experience * ADC / precision analog layout experience * ESP32 experience (preferred) * JLCPCB manufacturing experience Applications without PCB portfolio examples will not be considered. --- ## To Apply Please include: 1.
