Senior Apparel Product Development Consultant (Medical Scrubwear) – Jaipur, India

We are building Havar, a premium medical scrubwear brand for healthcare professionals in India. We are looking for an experienced Apparel Product Development Consultant, preferably based in Jaipur, to work closely with us from concept to production. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and developing performance apparel, uniforms, or medical scrubs, with a strong understanding of garment construction, fit, pattern development, and manufacturing. Scope of Work The consultant will be responsible for: Product Design - Design men's and women's medical scrubs Develop modern, functional, and ergonomic designs Recommend design details, trims, pocket layouts, and functional features Product Development - Develop production-ready Tech Packs Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) Recommend stitching, seams, trims, labels, and accessories Develop measurement charts and grading (XS–3XL) Pattern & Fit Development - Review and improve patterns Coordinate sample development Conduct fit reviews and recommend corrections Ensure excellent fit, comfort, and mobility Fabric & Manufacturing Support- Evaluate both knitted and woven fabrics for scrubwear Work with fabric suppliers and garment manufacturers Recommend the most suitable fabric construction based on comfort, durability, appearance, manufacturability, and cost Support prototype development until the garment is production-ready Production Readiness - Prepare complete production documentation including: Final Tech Packs Measurement Charts BOM Sewing Specifications Quality Checkpoints Production Handover Documents Preferred Experience - Applicants should have experience in one or more of the following: Medical Scrubs Healthcare Apparel Uniforms Performance Apparel Activewear Athleisure Functional Workwear Experience working with both knitted and woven fabrics will be preferred. Candidates based in Jaipur will be given preference as occasional in-person meetings with suppliers and manufacturers may be required.
