Senior AI Artist for Content Studio
Worldwide
Senior AI Artist (Contract, Remote) About us We're a US-based AI content studio producing campaign-grade stills and video for national apparel brands, including licensed collaborations with major entertainment and snack food properties. We also produce content for performance and safety hardware brands with technical, complex-geometry products, so the work spans streetwear-native campaign content and precision product visualization. Our clients expect content that holds up against traditional production, not content that looks AI-generated. We move fast: 48-hour average turnaround, constant revisions, strict brand QC. The common thread across all of it is precision. Every client relationship we have is built on delivering exact detail, consistently, at speed. We're hiring a senior artist to own creative from brief to final delivery alongside our existing team. What you'll do Take a brief and drive it through concept, generation, refinement, and final delivery. You own the outcome, not just the assets Lead look development. Explore multiple visual directions through prompt and reference experimentation, then distill them into 2 to 3 distinct style routes for client approval. Every route presented has to clear our quality bar, so clients choose between strong options rather than filtering out weak ones Choose the right model for each job across image and video generation, and art direct outputs until they hit the mark Composite across generations. When a garment, logo, or detail misses, the fix is regenerating that element and blending it seamlessly into the best master image. Clean edges, matched lighting and grain, invisible seams Hand cleanup where AI falls short: logo and type fixes using supplied brand files, artifact removal, stray detail cleanup Hold products to spec-accurate standards. For apparel: garment silhouette, fabric texture, print artwork, and colors must match the real product exactly. For hard goods: geometry, proportions, and component details must match the engineered product. An asset with a redrawn print, drifted color, or warped product shape is a failed asset no matter how good it looks Keep treatment consistent across entire sets. When a shoot spans multiple colorways, styles, or scenes, every asset must match on silhouette, color, texture, lighting, environment, and characters. The set should read as one shoot, not a collection of separate generations Full video post: artifact cleanup, tracking and patching, edit assembly, grading, cutting to music, audio balance Build repeatable workflows for recurring asset types so quality holds at volume Curate ruthlessly. Review large batches of generations, know which few serve the brief and why the rest miss, and adjust the next batch accordingly Run every deliverable through QC against brand guidelines and supplied color references before it ships What we need 6+ years in visual content production with senior-level retouching or finishing craft Deep working fluency in current generative image and video models, and the judgment to know which tool fits which job Strong Photoshop and After Effects, plus Premiere or Resolve Taste. Within whatever direction the client sets, you can tell the difference between technically clean and actually good, and your bar for what ships is high Speed and non-preciousness. Layered non-destructive files, fast revision cycles, no ego about redoing work Obsessive product detail. Fashion or apparel experience strongly preferred: you check silhouettes against spec, compare prints stitch by stitch, and color match against source files, not by eye Clear written English for daily async communication Work hours aligned to US Pacific business hours, with occasional evening coverage for same-day rush work. If you're outside the Americas this means night shift, so apply only if that schedule genuinely works for you long term Nice to have Experience with automation or scripting for batch production Structure We start with a trial period of 2 to 3 projects, billed hourly or per project. If the fit is right on both sides, we move to a flat monthly retainer with consistent full-time work. Remote, paid through a contractor platform. All work is under NDA and work-for-hire. Client work cannot be shared publicly or used in your portfolio without written approval. To apply Send your portfolio with two things highlighted: before/after examples of your retouching and cleanup work, and at least one full set of assets delivered for a single program so we can see consistency across a batch. Links to existing work are fine, nothing needs to be made for this application. Shortlisted candidates will walk us through their process on a past project, then complete a test project: one brief taken from concept to delivered still and video clip.
