Senior AutoCAD Technical Coach (Ongoing | On-Demand)

We are a luxury interior design firm creating high-end residential, hospitality, community, and commercial spaces. We're looking for an exceptional AutoCAD expert who enjoys helping other designers improve. This is not a teaching course and not a full-time position. Instead, you'll become our team's on-demand technical expert. Whenever one of our designers gets stuck or wants to improve a workflow, we'll schedule a quick Zoom call and you'll work through the project together. Think of yourself as our "AutoCAD coach." What You'll Do Meet one-on-one with designers over Zoom Solve real AutoCAD challenges on active projects Improve drafting speed and workflow Help troubleshoot complex drawing issues Teach efficient workflows, shortcuts, and best practices Review construction drawings and suggest improvements Help establish clean drafting standards and organization Most sessions will be between 30 and 90 minutes. Requirements Expert-level AutoCAD knowledge Extensive experience producing construction documents Fluent spoken English Excellent communication skills Patient and enjoyable to work with Experience mentoring or coaching others Available during U.S. Eastern business hours Able to respond on relatively short notice Bonus Skills Interior design or architecture background Experience with luxury residential and commercial projects Strong understanding of construction documentation Experience developing CAD standards, templates, blocks, layers, dynamic blocks, and efficient workflows This is an ongoing relationship. We're not looking for someone to complete projects for us. (although we might end up utilizing your extra pair of talented hands) We're looking for someone our designers can rely on whenever they need expert guidance.
