Senior AI Automation Engineer wanted, long-term (n8n, LLMs, real engineering depth)

We're a UK marketing agency working only with finance firms (accountants, bookkeepers, IFAs, brokers). We build AI systems that save these firms time on internal processes, plus internal automation for ourselves. We already build in n8n and Claude Code, so we know the basics. We're not looking for someone who can only wire up a no-code workflow. We're looking for genuine expertise. You'll help us with: Building reliable automation systems we sell to finance clients Internal marketing and ops automation Advising on feasibility: what's realistic, what isn't, where it'll break, and how to design around it You must have: Several years building LLM-based systems that actually ran in production The judgment to tell us when AI is the wrong tool, not just how to build it Strong n8n, plus the ability to drop into real code (Python or JavaScript) when no-code hits its ceiling Fluent written and spoken English Working hours that overlap well with an Asian time zone (this is where we're based, so a good overlap is preferred) Solo freelancer. No agencies, no reselling, no subcontracting our work out Bonus: marketing understanding, experience with regulated or finance clients.
