Summary

We are looking for an experienced Azure Infrastructure Engineer to migrate an on-premises Windows Server environment to Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities: Assess existing Windows Server and VMware infrastructure Design and implement Azure infrastructure Migrate Windows Servers, SQL Server, and Active Directory to Azure Deploy Azure Virtual Desktop or Windows 365 Configure networking (VPN, VNets, firewalls) Implement backup, disaster recovery, and security best practices Perform migration planning, testing, and production cutover Requirements: 7+ years of Windows Server administration Strong Microsoft Azure experience VMware ESXi migration experience Active Directory & Microsoft Entra ID SQL Server migration experience Azure Virtual Desktop and/or Windows 365 Azure networking, security, backup, and monitoring Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills Project Duration: 2–6 months (implementation) Engagement: Contract / Remote
